I stopped in for happy hour. I got a Spanish rum flight and a mojito. Nothing special about the mojito and it wasn't made... correctly but I wasn't going to trip about it. The lime and mint wasn't even muttled, mint was just thrown in. The drink waswatered down. I would never get another one. On the happy hour menu i tried The Baja lettuce shrimp wraps and they were weird. They where big butterfly shrimp. It was a little hard to make a little wrap with these kinda shrimp. I wasn't to please or impressed with this place at all. Read more

So good! I wanted to try everything on the menu. Everything sounded so good and some things were unique to anything I've seen... in a restaurant before. The atmosphere was great. Our waitress was super friendly. I wish this restaurant was in my home town! Read more

Unique Latin American food. Roast pork pozolé verde is the best dish. It is a traditional Mexican soup/stew. This came with... Hominy, is corn, but not straight off the cob. Hominy is whole kernels of dried field corn (aka maize) that have beennixtamalized, a process that cooks have been doing since ancient times, With roast pork, Hominy added an extra layer of textureand taste that will take you to another level of culinary experience. Love it!! I wanted more and more. My wife and daughterenjoyed it too, and we categorised all three meals we had and this came number one at the end. Comes with cilantro to taste andbread slices to dip in. El Cubano-Cuban sandwich - excellent bread with ham, pork and mustard. It’s fresh and tasty. Comeswith Adobo fries. Feijoada stew - This is a traditional Brazilian Stew. it’s have less flavour compared with the other two,but healthiest I guess. Comes with beans, meat, vegetables and rice. My wife had it and she agreed in terms of flavour it isnumber three. Place is located by the Eaton mall, Trader Joes and Michael’s Fish market is nearby. Read more

The food and service at Paladar are first rate. But I'm posting this review to specifically mention how friendly the menu is for... folks who are vegan or have dietary restrictions. The gluten and diary free options make Paladar an ideal place for my family todine. And the patio and bar area offer terrific ambiance. Read more

Very bizarre. - server had an attitude from the start, was curt and seemed like we were an inconvenience - black bean soup... arrived, the server apologised for dropping the spoon in it, and then just walked off (this was hot soup, and the spoon sunk) -She proceeded to disappear for 15 minutes. When I was finally able to flag her and ask for a spoon - “of course” and thenwas another few minutes.. very bizarre The guacamole was good, but that was all. Read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. Allow me to set the tone, had a dinner reservation for 5:30, everyone got settled in around... 5:45. Our server came to accommodate us and took orders for drinks. Received our drinks at about 6. Everything was fine, or sowe thought. Our server kept coming back and forth bringing drinks, I wish I was exaggerating but this went on for two hours. Two hours of her bringing us drinks, mind you just soft beverages and then also began bringing complimentary refills, and aserving of complimentary burnt tortilla chips. When we did try to order she would walk away giving us snippy comments, she cameback and forth from our tables several times and around the fourth time she finally took our orders. It was like playing duckduck goose. After waiting for about half an hour, we finally questioned as to when the food would be coming, she gave us somerandom excuse and brushed us off leaving once again. Mind you the restaurant was not that busy. After running back and forthseveral more times bringing us drinks and refills unsolicited, we are now two hours in. No meals, just random drink refills anda stack of burnt tortilla chips. After bathroom stops to scout other tables, seeing other families have their food that arrivedway after us, we went back to our table and continued to wait for our food. We didn’t receive our food until 8. And I trulywish that I was exaggerating. Now, the food came out and wasn’t great at all, no one at the table was raving about theirmeals if anything some accommodation should’ve been made. After waiting for two hours?? Our meal should’ve been free. Myfriend placed an order for the bacon burger that came with blue cheese, asked for no blue cheese and had to have it sent back tothe kitchen only to have to wait another 20 minutes for her burger to come back out. She asked for her meat well done, NOTburnt. And another one of the guests had ordered chicken tacos, only to find bones in the SUPPOSED TO BE BONELESS Read more
