It?s pretty good food. The falafel plate was flavorful. The tzatziki sauce was very fresh and thick unlike other Mediterranean... places. Falafel was crispy and fresh. The falafel wrap was crispy on the outside. Had one falafel plate and two falafel wraps.Gives a decent amount of food for the price. Looks like the food is made from scratch which is great. Only negative is I wishthe falafel wrap had a bit more flavor. Ask for some sauce to go with the falafel wrap if possible! FYI: The place only hasfive seats (looks like it?s a new establishment) so if your planing to dine in you will probably have to get takeout instead. Read more

I'm not sure how I've lived in the area for so long and never been to this place. We got a pretty good spread Saturday night... and everything was top-notch. Kebab plates are enormous with a ton of variety. Big hunks of perfectly cooked chicken or steakover a fantastic plate of rice. Lentil soup was hearty, light, and flavorful at the same time, and the baklava is probably thebest I've had. Everything we ordered was at or near the tip of my list. Nothing was remotely greasy (huge plus for my wife) -Everything tasted great while still feeling healthy. Best of both worlds You have to leave a score for atmosphere. They'recarry out with a few seats you can eat at - nothing special - but my God, the food! Read more

The best food of it's kind in the area. Fill-A-Pita is close but Ed's is down the street from us and although we like to switch... it up, both places have their own tastes and style. We've had Ed's cater 2 parties of ours and everything was delicious bothtimes. Guests were asking for left overs to take home and we don't blame them. Super close great food spot, will be going toEd's for as long as we live here. Read more

This place is not good and way overpriced. I wouldn't come back. The food pictured here was $19.34 after tax. I got the lamb... kebab. The lamb was tough and not tender at all. The cuts they gave me seemed like odd cuts of meat to serve someone. There wasa lot of inedible parts and connective tissue/gristle. The few bites I had of actual meat were dry and tough. Rice was blandand the salads were soggy and flavorless. I didn't eat the pita but it seemed like one you'd get from a grocery store. For $20it was not worth the money. Read more

The chicken kebab was excellent! Perfect charring, seasoned wonderfully, and moist. The salads and pita were standard. I LOVED... the lamb soup. And the lentil soup was just ok, great on a good rainy day, which it was. I'd definitely go back. Read more

Ed?s is simply the best Mediterranean food in the Chicago/ Chicago-land area. Incredible food, always fresh, and authentic. We... got the lamb wraps, the chicken kebab plate, Karcho soup- all amazing. For food that?s clean, fresh and ridiculously good- thisis it. Read more
