We came in to try the new menu and we weren't disappointed, I am a little sad that there's no chicken pot pie but the shrimp and... tri tip were good , also the sweet potato fries and ice coffee. Our server, Naomi was fabulous, super cute, sweet and efficient.We always get good service but she's the best so far. Also a shout out for Ben , he cashed us out and he was also super cute,friendly and efficient. The cooks there never disappoint. The plate looked appealing and the food was hot and delicious. Love eating here. Food is always good and service is phenomenal. Christina was my server recently and I enjoyed her personality.... She was professional and funny. Food is good but might be a good idea to just do takeout. The staff was on their phones the entire time and seemed to be more... interested in the gossip happening in the restaurant than providing decent service. I told my wife that if the owner walked inand saw what we saw he/ she would have fired the whole lot. ** Was asked to share my experience... So I sent an email anddidn't even get any type of acknowledgement for the email. Which to me means that they aren't trying to resolve any issues butrather just save face... changing my review from 2 to 1 star. Took a chance as everything my teen wanted from home isn?t here? and it did not disappoint. He LOVED the huckleberry shake and... finished it lickety split. He also finished his burger, which he rarely does unless it?s his beloved Whataburger. Best of all,the ice tea wasn?t sweet tea! I may be from Texas but I don?t like sweet tea. I got a free Bear?s Choice breakfast for my birthday so I came in and picked it up. The inside is literally so cool! It felt... like I was in Yellowstone. Wish I could have stayed. Hearty food in a cozy and homey setting. Had eggs benedict with link sausage. Both were flavorful and delicious.

Went out this Saturday while visiting SLC: while it was not so crowded, it took a looot of time for food to come out. I ordered... SB Corned Beef Hash & Egg and it was average. Beef and eggs were dry, potatoes undercooked and there was a piece of lemon thattasted weird, like it was spoiled. I do like Black Bear Diner and food is usually delicious in the locations I normally visit ororder delivery from. But this place was disappointing. I would give this place 3 stars. Added extra star because theyapologized and didn't make us pay for the food that was delayed. Read more
