We had a wonderful dining experience they had so many things in the menu we wanted to try that it was hard to choose and both... the cocktails and mocktails were delicious. We sat by the window and it felt like we were dining in the redwood forest, I willdefinitely be back once I’m in the area again! Read more

I don’t know where to start with this review so I’ll keep it short and simple. I am so glad The Mountain House reopened.... They had shut down during Covid-19 and refused to change their biz model to take outs & deliveries. When they finally reopened,I could see why. The ambience is to die for. Absolutely ensure you sit in the area overlooking the forest. Tons of parkingavailable. The food is gorgeous, an adjective I usually reserve for people, but in this case, the food deserves the adjective.Well curated menu. Great service. Flavors that pop. I couldn’t find a single thing I didn’t like. I got the Vanilla BreadPudding and it was so good I almost cried, which explains why there’s no photo of it in my review. They have a daily specialsmenu so ask for it. We got the Alaskan Halibut and the Roast Chicken in lemon caper sauce. Divine. Read more
Amazing place with great ambience and exceptional service. If you want to enjoy cozy evening dinner with your loved ones then... this is a must go place. Visiting around sunset is preferred to enjoy the forest look and would recommend to ask for forest sideseating. The restaurant puts in all the efforts to please the customer with food and service. One of my favorite places up on the hill!!!! The food and the service is always 5 stars. Great place for the locals to hang out... at the bar, and for city folk to spoil their special someone to a white tablecloth fine dining experiance! I came in tonight inshorts, t shirt, and backeards ballcap rubbing elbows with CEOs and hillfolk. No judgment, 0 pretensions... Im going to missthis place when it closes for good next week!!!
