Went to the Village Pub for dinner on a busy Saturday night. Very cozy, elegant, and comfortable atmosphere. Ordered the corn... mezzelune, halibut, and cheesecake. The corn mezzelune was outstanding. Halibut and cheesecake were decent. There is a breadservice that comes by your table often; and the Parker House rolls are also excellent. Service was very slow, probably becauseit was so busy. It took 20 minutes to get water and our orders taken. Food was not very slow to arrive at least. Towards the endof the evening it was difficult to get ahold of our server to get the bill. Overall would return on a less busy night to see ifit is better. Read more

We sat outside and it was lovely. The star of the night was the Heirloom Tomato Burrata Cart. My duck breast was outstanding, as... was my wife's pumpkin soup. Everything else was great. They have a very nice outdoor seating now with heaters and carpeted floor. The staff are attentive and friendly. This is a... well running machine, everyone works together to accommodate dinners and feels like you are well taken care of here. They havea 3 course prefix menu for the restaurant. I enjoyed my pick of a 3 course meal, but I'm sure all their dishes are deliciousand well executed. Nothing extravagant about their bread service, just good old 3 types of bread with butter, no fancy weirdflavored bread. My whiskey sour with egg whites could have been made better, not enough egg white foam. They have a nicecocktail and wine list.
