100 stars for Garden Cafe at Woodstock. I absolutely love this place. Excellent service. Food, so amazing it's better than what... I make at home. Lots of options to choose from -- and plenty of it. In this day and age where so many vegan restaurants areover-priced, at this one you can have a great meal for two, with drinks, appetizers, and dessert/coffee for just $100. You can'tbeat that! The entrees are plentiful. I ate there around 2 p.m., and eight hours later I am still full, which is not normal forme because I'm always hungry. I wish I wasn't two hours away, I'd eat here at least once a week. And, to be honest, I would haveto say this is the BEST vegan restaurant since Pure Food and Wine closed down. Tasty tasty tasty, my dish was tasty. I had the red lentil loaf and this dish was flavorful and filling. The steamed kale was on... point, the apples, the sauce. I enjoyed the whole thing and filled for the rest of the day. I also had a delicious juice which Iwas able to order combining many veggies and fruits. Enjoy your lunch here :) Read more
The food is off the hook good. Seriously, I'm not a vegan but could be if this was what I could eat. I had the vegan meatloaf.... Excellent and the onion and mushroom gravy was incredible. My fiance has the Brussels sprouts which were cooked perfectly. Read more
Each meal was nothing short of fantastic. Our first day in Woodstock, we stopped by for lunch and went back for takeout later... that same evening, then visited a third time the following day. Staff were attentive and cheery, and the food scrumptious. Nexttime you find yourself in the Catskills, don?t hesitate to pop in for a bite from this charming *100% VEGAN* cafe. One of the best vegetarian restaurants in NYS. The place is cozy, has good music in the background, very professional attendants... and fresh food, with an explosion of flavors ! There?s a different menu every day and all the creations with fresh veggies ! Inthe pic below, one of the chefs , Walter Pires Lyra, from El Salvador- a gentleman! Wowwww! What a fantastic place? great outdoor seating (you can bring your furry friends along)? great indoor seating as well..... and to top it all the food and people. Everything we had here was so tasty and fresh. I tried the veggie lasagna (withoutnoodles)? the most divine thing I?ve eaten. My husband had the burger which was great too! We took some coconut lime cake homeand we?re not disappointed! I would definitely recommend this place if you are in Woodstock and wanna try vegan food! Read more
