Chiba Sushi is just your average sushi restaurant. For someone like myself who does not like raw fish (or even cooked fish) this... place is good because they offer much more vegetable and side options compared to Sushi Cove. With that being said, my boyfriendloves traditional sushi and usually complains about the quality of the fish here. The price is reasonable for an all you can eatstyle restaurant. While eating here (multiple times), I?ve noticed that the staff stares at you while you?re eating and kind ofmakes you feel rushed. Another thing about this place is that the bathroom is ALWAYS dirty! This makes me wonder what it?s likein the back/kitchen. Also, it?s either Japanese music or Country music, nothing in between. Used to be decent sushi, but in recent visits I've noticed prices have gone up and fish portions have shrunk. Sushi pieces now... consist of a big glob of rice with a paper thin sliver of fish. Rolls are the same. I'm not going to pay $35 a person for thisanymore and I believe others are following suit. This place used to be packed at dinner time, now it seems depressingly empty. Great experience. Friendly staff. Although they do come and fill your water every 5 minutes...lol food seemed fresh, and I... didn't get any over fishy tasting items. Also had the sake today. The Large is enough for 3ppl to have 2 tiny cups each. Thewaitress wasn't sure. Read more
We have been coming to Chiba Sushi since moving to Woodstock in 2019. We have always been happy with the service and the food.... However since increasing their price for all you can eat dinner to 31.99 per person the portions are smaller, the service isterrible and they subtly try to end your meal before you are actually done. We will not be returning until things change, ifthey do. At the new price, I?d rather spend the extra $4 and go to Wind Japanese and Thai in Mississauga. Read more
Had two types of rice and they were both great! Teriyaki beef was a large portion and delicious. Service was quick and polite.... Will come back again if in the area. Thanks for a good experience! Read more
This is our favourite sushi place here in Woodstock. They are so fast and efficient and get our order right every time whether... in person or take out. We love the black dragon rolls here especially and seafood udon. Highly recommend!! Read more
The servers here are very friendly, they serve some of the best sushi I have ever had, definitely my favourite sushi place. The... waitresses made sure our glasses where filled and got our food out at a pretty reasonable time. I think we only missed a fewitems for the all you can eat but we just ordered it again with the next ticket. The prices aren't bad considering how good itis. Read more
Wonderful place to go and eat at with friends. Staff are also very friendly and prompt to take orders or fill up water... etc. Only drawback I would have is it seems their portions are getting smaller, yet some other items change for the better likethe Salmon Belly being larger now. All in all great place. Been going to for a long time now and look forward to keep on goingin the future. Read more
