Food was really good BUT that server made it tough to enjoy it. He was really nice but his clothes were dirty with stains all... over it, he was wearing sandals with his toes out and then kept picking his nose and touching money. He must've been the ownersson or something to get away with that. Though I will admit I don't think he did it on purpose, I think he just didn't know...anyways in rough times like this, I hope he found the gold he was looking for (in his nose). Read more
We were here from out of town . The pancake house was closest to our hotel room. I had the new York steak and eggs and he had... the salmon avocado omelet . Was quite impressed with the amount of food we got for the price. Also our server (I believe hername was sam) was great! Read more
Busy Sunday lunch. Some new staff still working in their routines, so there were some delays. Thankful for someone to be serving... me, so can't complain. Food portions were large, and pricing was incredibly fair. Overall, good food spot for familiar bites. Read more
Had higher rating. Went on Saturday morning and had a great experience. 4.5 stars. Went back Sunday morning hoping for same.... Very disappointed. While waiting in line for a spot got passed over for 2 others patrons. Wife and I had waited 10 min. These 2guys just walked in and waitress seated them. I asked waitress why them and not us. Just off the 401 Norwich exit. Forget the chain restaurants stop here for breakfast or lunch. Reasonably priced delicious food... with great coffee! Fruit in fruit salad was so fresh and had a great flavor. The staff are very friendly and the cleanaccessible washrooms turbo toilets! Read more
Went on a Sunday around 10am. Good timing for no line up. It was busy, so don't expect to have small talk to the wait staff. We... were seated right away and taken care of for coffee. We weren't looking to sit for hours and chat, so it was the perfect spot togo for breakfast. In and out! We got the Pancake House special breakfast and the breakfast special. Their house special isperfect if you have a toddler to share with or if you are wanting a hearty meal. the bowl of fruit was very fresh and plenty. Weended up boxing it and bringing the rest home. The sausages were delicious and pancakes were cooked perfectly fluffy! Fourstars for now, as I asked for over medium eggs and got over easy. They have a great variety of eggs Benedict, but nothing beats the classic. Canadian Benny yum! They know how to poach the eggs... properly and if you add onions to the home fries... Mmm, perfection Read more
First time here for supper with my mother. She enjoyed her teriyaki dinner. Amazing portions and complete authentic home-made... food. The boy was by himself but quick and excellent service. We will be back to try breakfast here. Lots of parking!! Read more
