After waiting the better part of an hour, I had the worst Fish & Chips I've ever had. Overcooked and over breaded. The "chips"... were so greasy you could squeeze the grease from them. My wife had the fried chicken and it too was overcooked. I don't like towrite bad reviews but this experience was horrible. There were plenty of patrons there so they must have something good to eat.Hopefully this was just an isolated incident but I'd look elsewhere. Read more
They were amazing. Food was awesome and the staff were friendly and accommodating. We actually went back the next night because... itvwas good. Nice little hidden gem in Woodstock. Great menu selection and they had a good many beer and wines to choose from aswell. Read more
Traveling through staying at local hotel. Didnt want fastfood. Google put on to the Spring House Tavern.. Nice local place..... Seated quickly and food came right out. Everything was delicious. Been coming here to celebrate birthdays with friends and family for 10 years now. Not a bad thing on the menu between the potato... skins, ribs, crabcakes with 0 filler, steak, or stuffed chicken Masala below. The staff, like Melissa who we had tonight, arealways willing to work around my mom's stringent dietary requirements and make sure she can get a steak she can enjoy.
