After waiting the better part of an hour, I had the worst Fish & Chips I've ever had. Overcooked and over breaded. The "chips"... were so greasy you could squeeze the grease from them. My wife had the fried chicken and it too was overcooked. I don't like towrite bad reviews but this experience was horrible. There were plenty of patrons there so they must have something good to eat.Hopefully this was just an isolated incident but I'd look elsewhere. Read more
They were amazing. Food was awesome and the staff were friendly and accommodating. We actually went back the next night because... itvwas good. Nice little hidden gem in Woodstock. Great menu selection and they had a good many beer and wines to choose from aswell. Read more
Traveling through staying at local hotel. Didnt want fastfood. Google put on to the Spring House Tavern.. Nice local place..... Seated quickly and food came right out. Everything was delicious. Seasonal veg. snap peas was a pleasant surprise. Greatdesserts. Thanks to all. Will stop again for sure.. Read more

Pleasantly surprised to find such a great spot! We traveled in here tonight and found this place for dinner. I had the ribs, my... wife the pulled sandwich and the kids the Mac n cheese with bacon. Everything we ate was excellent. The waitress was veryfriendly and helpful with suggestions. They had a large selection of good beers on tap. We ordered the chips (not planning oneven eating them) and found them to be amazing. Read more
I absolutely loved this place. We came here after trying another establishment in town that closed earlier than it advertised as... being and sampled some of their craft beer. After enjoying the atmosphere, we revisited for dinner the next night. I cannotexpress how happy I was with this experience. From having awesome drinks and craft beer on tap, we also had the experience ofhaving steaks, some awesome wing appetizers, and being so full we needed to be wheeled out. Everything was hot, everything wasseasoned to taste (the wings were the crispiest I've ever had). I was honestly shook when the server brought me an extra wingbecause my portion had a 1/2 sized wing, but I never mentioned or even noticed it and they still sent me the extra wing in thepicture. Best service I've ever had! The steak practically melted in your mouth, and our server who was also our bartender wasamazing, even though she was busy! I cannot express how much this place delivers on taste and great service. I'm very happy theBrewhouse was closed, as this place more than delivered. Been coming here to celebrate birthdays with friends and family for 10 years now. Not a bad thing on the menu between the potato... skins, ribs, crabcakes with 0 filler, steak, or stuffed chicken Masala below. The staff, like Melissa who we had tonight, arealways willing to work around my mom's stringent dietary requirements and make sure she can get a steak she can enjoy. If you'redriving along Route 11, I-81, or hell anywhere in the state of Virginia, you owe it to yourself to visit this amazingrestaurant! Read more
