I wanted to like this place but it was a real let down. I will say, the salsa and rice were good and so was the service. The... burrito bowl was terrible. Very bland chicken. We use to love getting food here. Definitely not the case anymore. Take out experiences have been horrible. The order is always... wrong and/or missing something. And the food has absolutely no flavor anymore. It’s literally just a pile of slop that iscertainly not worth the money. Read more
It worked out to being average. The Entree's were very good but everything else was pretty bland. The complimentary chips and... salsa: bland. Chips had no salt and the salsa had some flavor but was extremely mild. The rice, beans, and guacamole had noseasoning whatsoever . The only reason I didn't give 2 stars is because the seafood fajita and the chicken fajita were quitetasty. Season the sides and you'd improve greatly. We order take out regularly from here because it is always excellent - both the food and the service! Most places you call and... place your order from home, then maybe run a couple errands, then go wait on your food that was supposed to be ready 10 minutesago. Not at El Tapatio! You run your errands, then you place your order on your way to pick up your food! They are fast anddelicious! Read more
Like the ambiance and quick fast service. Taste is also good, but a bit less to less spicy.
I ordered 2 taco salad bowls around lunch time. The bowls looked good .. until we were both faced with a huge amount of watered... down beef.. no flavor..it was gross. Anyone know if the get freeze dried beef and soak it over night in water. The runny beefsoaked our taco bowls.. it was gross. No more of them for $8.99 a bowl .. waisted my monies. Disappointed ???? We went for dinner on a weekday and enjoyed to the fullest. This place gets almost packed within 6pm even in weekdays! People... serving us food and drinks were very cordial and food was delicious. Read more
This has been our go to Mexican restaurant for years. I don't recall ever having a bad meal there. Our most recent visit did not... disappoint. Food was great. Service was amazing. Really can't wait to go back again. ???? Read more
