Went with the family the evening before Thanksgiving. Pretty subpar experience. Food wasn't terrible, bit it wasn't great... either. The waitress took awhile to get to us, and she didn't visit much either. We sensed that if we didn't get our entireorder in right away, it was going to be awhile before we saw her again. And what was odd, it wasn't really thatbusy. Atmosphere was ok. This place appears to be better for a drink with the guys then it is a place to get dinner with thefamily. Read more

This was our first time and we were celebrating a birthday. We wanted someplace with great food and atmosphere. Olde Jaol... Steakhouse was the perfect choice for both. Amazing food and service. The fried mushrooms were by far the best we've ever had! The burgers are huge and never disappoint. I... ordered the club this time and asked them to put it on a hoagie bun, and it turned out perfect! We had a large party and thewaitress handled our orders perfectly. Unique Steakhouse. Enjoyable experience, stay out of the bar area unless your drinking, the booths located there are good... seating but expect to hear every loud mouth at the bar on their phone. Food was good. Just to clarify I ate at the steakhouseand not the tavern. Read more
The steakhouse and tavern are two separate restaurants. We stopped by for lunch one day, wanting to go to the steakhouse,... however, it was closed so we settled on the tavern. The portion sizes are incredibly large, however, bigger is not alwaysnecessarily better. Whilst I didn’t have a problem with my food, my lunch mate had sour soup and we were generally unimpressedwith what we were served. On top of that, we were one of only three tables in the restaurant and service was still extremelyslow. We never got refills and went a long time without seeing our server when we were ready for our checks. I am usually veryforgiving when it comes to service but in addition to the food quality this is just not a place I would recommend. Read more
Food was very tasty. Made the mistake of ordering one of the butter boards for an appetizer and it took over an hour and a half... before it was served. Delicious once at came out. Dinner took over 3 hours in total. I think that priority is given to largergroups. Groups of 4 are served whenever. Our waitress stated several times about the delay but no comp was ever offered.
