Wholly unremarkable barbecue. Had the brisket sandwich (consisting of brisket on a fresh out of the bag commercial bakery bun,... with nothing else) - flavors present were "salt" followed by a faint hint of smoke and it needed sauce badly. Sides werelikewise bland - mac and cheese was food service grade pre-made and the red beans and rice taste mostly of salt and hot - "salt"being the primary flavor present in dishes appears to be a theme here. The food is always top notch - love their brisket! I strayed from my usual favorites this time and tried their traditional... bratwurst with sauerkraut and german mustard. It was very good too! The owners and staff are always super friendly. They alsohave a location at the Wayne County Fair too, so check that out if you're a fair regular. Read more

Pretty bad experience I?m not sure why the ratings are so high, the food tastes on par with school cafeterias and the prices are... outrageous for the quality. I ordered a beef brisket dinner for $22 and received 5 cardboard dry and thinly sliced meat. Nojuices at all. The fries also tastes exactly the same as the ones my school cafeteria serves: the frozen prepackaged fries. Ialso tried my friends pork ribs, and those were also dry af. The food was also pretty bland and relies heavily on the overlysweet bbq sauce to carry the burden of a tasteless meal.
