This is a non Authentic Mexican place! I ordered first a Guacamole and chips and it was a pre-made cold Guacamole. Chipotle's... Guac and chips are better! Then I ordered green chilaquiles with 2 sunny side eggs, steak, rice, beans, and avocado, and thatnever came as I ordered! Also, I ended up asking for the avocado because they didn't add it to my plate. This is amess! Administration please get a chef who can cook authentic or close to real Mexican food. The food was tasty but not what Iordered from Mexico. It was chilaquiles from another place not from Mexico. Read more

A group of friends and I were in Worcester for a scheduled American ???????? citizenship ceremony! One of the ladies just... googled restaurants in the area and Bingo we chose El Patron? we had nothing but the best comforting Mexican food in the world!I particularly love Mexican tamales and they were the best, so good that I ordered six more to go! Rice and beans need anhonorary mention?delicious! You can see the staff preparing your food as soon as you get in! The staff is from all over theworld, warm, friendly staff, extremely attentive! We live an hour away but we?re going back soon! This place won?t disappoint, freshness, tasty, authentic Mexican food! Try it! Read more

Decent food. It didn't stand out as being above and beyond for Mexican food, but it satisfied my urge for a burrito. The service... was friendly and overall pretty good although there was a decent space of time before our waitress came to take our orders tothe point where I thought she might have forgotten us, but other than that she was friendly and was willing to modify orders noproblem. The atmosphere was fun and thematic and there was decent seating. They have tables outside for warm weather days, too.I didn't try their margaritas but the sangria I had tasted watered down. I wouldn't go out of my way to come back, but if in thearea and not sure what to eat, El Patron is a safe choice at least! Read more

It was so good. The tequila was good. The salsa was different. I?ve never had any with carrots in it.

El Patron is a place to not overlook. The atmosphere, but most importantly the food is incredible. The server we had was... amazing, attentive, informative, and courteous. Portions are big and worth every penny. The flavors, oh the flavors, we'reincredible. The mango margarita was delicious, so I'm assuming the other flavors must good as well. This is definitely the placeto go to if you are in the mood for Mexican cuisine that has real home cooking. This place will not disappoint. Read more

My overall experience here was positive. Our waitress, Lourdes, was very pleasant and attentive to our needs while we were... there. To start, she gave us homemade chips with salsa which was a nice beginning to our meal. I ordered the enchiladas withchicken. They were very tasty but I thought it was strange that there were grilled chicken strips outside of the enchiladas. Come to find out, there was shredded chicken inside the enchiladas in addition to the strips, which was a pleasant surprise. Overall, It was the perfect amount of food.. i would have given this place 4 stars if I hadn't tried my daughter's steak whichwas over cooked and had a decent account of fatty gristle within it. Also, being in the city, you end up having to pay to parkwhich is sort of a letdown. The atmosphere felt like your average bar with cement flooring and cafeteria style tables andchairs. On the plus side, the artwork on the walls were vibrant, tasteful and very cheery! I would say i it's worth a try ifyou are looking for Mexican food in the city. Read more
