This place is awful. My granddaughters wanted hibachi, and asked me to take them there. The place has a not so fresh smell when... you walk thru the door. We sat down at the hibachi and ordered sushi first; it was OK. We had to ask for soy sauce. Then weordered hibachi; it was the worst tasting, no season hibachi ever...just awful. We had to ask for yum yum sauce and there wasno ginger sauce. The chef never held a conversation other than confirming our order. Find a real hibachi place if you wanthibachi in Worcester, MA. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. NOT authentic hibachi at all, the chef didn't even give a good show, plus the... restaurant didn't do anything special on my birthday. I treated my mom for a belated birthday lunch we decided to go eat at Kyoto . We both ordered the lunch - in special which was... Filet Mignon & Fried Rice Vegetables and a salad ????. The staff were friendly and the cook ,was awesome! We had the foodcooked in front of us, which was so cool ! YUM YUM SAUCE!! Kyoto?s legacy ???? Kyoto?s Hibachi was where we celebrated our completion of clinicals, our after vows dinner,... and several birthdays and events since! Their food is great and the yum-yum sauce makes it even better. The Hibachi chefs havebeen so much fun to watch and interact with and I have heard that the sushi is amazing too(Not something I eat). This mostrecent visit was for my bday and it was not the best but the food was still great and again.. I got my yum-yum sauce. I chalkthe lackluster performance and overall experience to the pandemic and lack of staffing. I?ll definitely be back to try againthough because one drab visit cannot Trump a dozen great ones, especially during these crazy times! Super good Japanese steak house. Make sure if you want hibachi that you make a reservation, as this is the only way to achieve... this. They are also very strict on last call which was at 830.
