Oh my god do they fry food well. Favorites include the fried tofu and intestines. Very generous with peppercorns and peppers.... Incredible crunch with every bite, so crispy. Well seasoned, spiced without being too spicy. A little salty for some maybe. Read more
This place is the real deal-- fresh quality ingredients and no pre-made sauces specializing in robust variety of traditional... Sichuan and select American Chinese dishes. Homemade pork buns, dumplings, chili beef tendon, pickled wood ear mushrooms, all oftheir hot pot and pickled pepper dishes, and special variety dishes are our go-to's, but they have good quality American Chinesedishes if you are more into that. Most authentic Chinese food in the area. Spicy Garlic Eggplant was a standout. The Vegetable Delight was light and the veggies... tasted fresh. I would not recommend ordering The Fried Tofu and Vegetables, it had too much tofu and not enough vegetables. Read more
Went to Red Pepper for a lunch date with my daughters ! Place was clean and staff were attentive . Had dishes consisting of... Chicken with mushrooms; Sesame Chicken, Vegetable Lo Mein along with fried rice, steamed raviolis and Wonton Soup. Everythingwas freshly cooked to order , noodles got excellent reviews, sesame chicken got good reviews , although a little pricey for thatone dish ! Beautiful place, wonderful foods. Real authentic Sichuan cuisine. It might be too strong flavour or spicy for American, but... really good. We got cold sliced beef tendon, spicy and sour beef noodle soup, fried shrimp with walnut in mayo, and friedchicken with Chilli. And I'm pretty sure other foods should be wonderful. Highly recommend Red Pepper especially for good Sichuan food, this is a step up above your typical American Chinese fast food... restaurant. One of my favorite restaurants in Worcester and go at least every other month. If you like spice this is the place.I would reserve to get any fried dish like their amazing "L01 Deep fried chicken" for dine in only as they do loose their crispif doing takeout. Some of my favorite dishes so far: - L7 Cumin lamb, L1 fried chicken, E7 shredded beef, J14 Hot beef noodlesoup - L14 mala pot (lots of seafood and good for several people) Their spicy wontons are also incredible and quite spicy.
