I recently moved to the area and heard that this was a cool little spot, like a small town version of the silos. It definitely... checks out! The facility is really cool and has some great areas! GET THE COCKTAILS! they are excellent! I tried the pumpkinspice martini, which was perfect! I also got the boat drink-if you like long island ice teas, this is better! The pineapplecider is really good too! The wine selection isn't really anything to write home about, they are pretty basic and can be boughtat any grocery store. They didn't have any of the Moscato's in stock, a few other wines were out of stock and unfortunately thebartender couldn't really give any recommendations. I didn't order any food, my bf ordered naked wings, the waiter/bartender putthe order in correctly but the kitchen sent out breaded instead of naked. We still really enjoyed the evening though. We sat onthe patio and watched the baseball game on TV with our little Chihuahua. This place would be the perfect spot for a Sundaybrunch with mimosas!!! Read more
Nice restaurant and bar. I love the direction they are going with the decor. Wait staff is on point. The food however is hit or... miss. That's not to say I haven't enjoyed some of their food. It's either been really good or barley edible. I feel like thegood outweighs the bad. Read more
I absolutely praise the name of this restaurant the girls are so sweet and politeask for Brooklyn or pam the bartender no t a... bunch of hussies in teeny short real girls awesome personalities and they do there absolutely wonderful the building is a rusticold gin do not let the ridiculous corner u have to turn around the building to find the front door from parking fool u i theyhave a dance floor they have great food from real country cooks who can do it right tex mex is to die for if u dont try the ginnachos to go ur stupid the price doesn't put weigh the amount they give u is amazing is ???? c ask the lady with the computeropen sitting g there always she's manager and her niece is the best waitress there it's secluded from the world in this whole inthe wall town with nothing but cows and goats downtown in city limits with police dept that literally closes at five pm aranchers gas station that has a casino in it for cash and a fertilizer plant ... But this gem of a building for those interestedin architecture and the food atmosphere place and times to unwind at. We have eaten lunch and supper at The Old Gin. Both times the food was so good! The hostess and waitresses were wonderful!

The meal was great. Chicken Fried Chicken was flavorful and moist and mac/cheese was the bomb. Only problem was mashed potatoes... were not hot and neither was pecan cobbler. Great/friendly service!! Read more
The first visit was good. Service was a little slow but u had just opened. The food was tasty. My second visit was not good. I... brought my dog with me so I let the hostess know that I had a dog and would be sitting out on patio. She never offered me a menuor anything. Then I proceeded to wait for my server. After 15min I watched 2 different servers walk right past me multiple times neither one ever stopped and greeted me at all. I left. Servers need to be retrained in customer service. Read more
I?ll start this just saying that this is a complaint. I recommended this restaurant to my mother after eating there once with my... coworkers for lunch and I had a really good experience. Tonight 11/9/2022 my mother placed an online order for our family. Itstated our order would be ready at 6:57pm we arrived at 7pm to pick up our food. She parked in the front. ( mind you she hasnever been there) she went in the main entrance to wait for approx 5 minutes before any staff making contact. Once a staff cameover that staff was extremely rude stating to my mother that she came in the wrong door and she needs to go wait over there.This staff did not show my mother where to go and attempted to walk away before my mother had to stop her and ask exactly whereshe was supposed to go. Once in the correct area no one help my mother for ten minutes while multiple staff walked by. One stafffinally talked to my mom and got her name for the order and then gave her a receipt to sign and disappeared. Again my mom waitedtill a nice young lady came by and asked my mom if she was helped and my mom told her she was waiting for her order. This nicestaff checked and said it looked like they were boxing it up now and it shouldn?t be long. This nice lady then also disappeared.Then the same staff my mom first had contact with told my mom she was in the way and needs to move or sit down or something. Mymom said ? well I?ll just go wait in my car if you can tell me how much longer till the food is ready?? This staff replied 5minutes but you need to walk out the back door cause you can?t walk through the dining area. So my mother does as told only tofind there is no way to get back to the front parking lot without walking down the street in the dark and then walking on hwy14and around back to our car.
