I recently visited with my husband and another couple. The waitress was attentive and kind. The food was mediocre at best. For... their prices you can get a better meal in the North End. My husband got one of the seafood specials which consisted of lobstermeat, shrimp, and scallops with pasta. Buyer beware, without us knowing it was $89.95. No, just no! Way, WAY overpriced for average food. My gluten free rolls took 25 minutes to be served to me, then were found to... be rock hard! I asked for a replacement and was served softer rolls. However, someone used their thumb to test for softness,left a hole in the one roll, then turned over the roll so it was not noticeable when served. I totally lost my appetite for therolls after that maneuver! Secondly, a simple request. I asked for no cucumbers on my salad and add onions. Alas! My house saladcame with cucumbers and no onions. Funny thing?when I requested the specifics of my salad I noted the waitress was not writing.I then asked if she wrote down my request, she said she did, but in truth, she did not. I did not request a new salad because Iknew it would be quite a wait until I received it. Our bill was $162.00 and change. Two meals and two mixed drinks. My husbandand I do not recommend this restaurant. They are only open in the evenings. We kind of figured they up-charge to make up for thetimes they are closed. Read more
My parents love the food and it's my mom's favorite restaurant. I thought the chicken parm was decent but I've had better at... other places recently. There are no perfect recipes so it might be my personal preference to how they combine their flavors. Read more

5 Stars in ALL the categories: food quality, food presentation, service, and atmosphere!! Everything was delicious! The other... guests were a mixture of adults and young people. While this is the perfect place to celebrate a special occasion, it's a greatplace to celebrate family too! This was my first visit to Luciano?s.My husband had had dinner there a few times in the past, during business trips to the area... and each and every time he would tell me how much I would love it there. He was right! We were finally able to eat theretogether last weekend. It was as good, if not better, than how my husband had described it. The restaurant itself, is large andnicely decorated. The staff was welcoming. Our server, Cam, was very competent. He knew the specials by heart, described them indetail and graciously answered all our questions. He was attentive and respectful. As soon as we sat down, they gave us twokinds of bread and a dipping sauce. For appetizers, we ordered raw clams and raw oysters. They were nice and fresh. We wereserved small house salads with our meals; just the right size and with very tasty, local tomatoes. My husband ordered theswordfish, which he loved. I ordered the Chilean sea bass, which was cooked to perfection. As a side dish, they served uscauliflower in béchamel sauce. It was exquisite. My husband mentioned to Cam how much I liked it and he brought us more. Wedidn?t have room for dessert but I did have a decaf espresso for the perfect ending to this lovely meal. This year we decided to eat out for Thanksgiving, and we chose Luciano's. We love this restaurant in the first place, so we... figured it would be a no-brainer for a holiday treat.
