Custard was very good! The vanilla shakes are super gross! It had a strange after taste and when we asked about it at the window... they said they use a syrup to make them. We asked if we get get something else instead because none of us could drink it andthey said we would have to pay for something else they wouldn?t just replace it. Very disappointed. We just threw it away. Wehave always had a good experience here otherwise. Guess that?s what we get for trying something other than the custard. Read more
Bob Jo's is a fantastic place. Grew up going here, one of few places I genuinely miss when I haven't been downriver. Again, for... newcomers, it is cash only so plan accordingly. Dairy free options are becoming more available. Worth the trip! Read more
Well worth the 30 minute drive to have my first Bob Jo's Custard experience..... the toasted coconut was absolutely delicious! Well I have always loved going to Bob Jo's for Frozen Custard and have been going there my whole life. My parents took me as a... kid and I have done so with mine as well. And it's a regular tradition whenever my brother comes into town from California sowe have been there almost everyday for the past week. This is the place that started it all with Frozen Custard in this area. All the others are "followers" as Bob Jo's lead the way. And we were not disappointed at all as they continue to serve aquality product. My brother got his usual Vanilla Custard and I indulged in a Chocolate Custard. Having just left therestaurant after lunch and both of us being full, we decided on a small cone for each of us. DELICIOUS!!! I urge everyone to,at least, try a Frozen Custard from this Michigan Icon. The kids will love ???? it. They have ample parking available and arehandicap accessible. Masks are optional at this time. Frozen Custard, what's not to love. They have an amazing selection of flavors but I can't personally account for anything... outside the classic twist. My daughters love the fruit flavors though. The prices are good, not overly expensive. The lines canbe long but they move well enough. They are a cash only business but I suspect this helps the lines move too. Read more
Has been a favorite since my dad first took me there in 1989. Their frozen custard is the best in and around town!
