I ordered the Franks Speical, I wish there was more sauce on it but other than that it was crunchy and flavorful. Chicken... tenders, mozzarella sticks, and meatballs were pretty good as well. Antipasto salad was same as everywhere else nothing crazy.Waitress was super friendly and paitent with us, great service. Read more

This place was okay. Not in a good way either. I remember coming here as a kid and their pizza was very flavorful and the crust... had a certain texture that crunched, yet it was chewy at the same time. Man were those the days. Because now, their pizza isaverage and their prices aren't the best either. Their menu has changed quite a bit. They no longer serve Italian dishes, suchas spaghetti and ravioli. They have many different styles of pizza. With that said, I would like to try the Detroit style pizzaif I ever decide to stop back in. On the pizza that we ordered, which was the hand tossed pizza, the slices were very flimsy. The toppings fell off as you held the slice. It kind of lacked flavor as well. The antipasto salad was small and the lunch meatand cheese, which you do not get a lot of, did not have much flavor. The meatballs weren't bad. They weren't something thatwould make me race back to this place though. The atmosphere is much different now too. I do like that you can sit outside. Ialso like that there is a bar you can sit at. But honestly, I like the old Italian restaurant vibe better than the hipstermodern pizzeria feel. That's just me though. The service was average. The waitress was kind of unattentive and really not thatfriendly. She didn't make any mistakes though, which was good. Overall, I would like to try their Detroit pizza if I come back.Aside from that, I really don't know what would bring me back to this place. It's certainly not the same as it once was. Read more

The ingredients were fresh and the pizza was good. Light on the sauce which was good. Could use more cheese. If you like crispy... crust this is a pizza for you. The pizza was definitely a 4 out of 5. All of the staff were professional and friendly and theatmosphere was nice and clean. Read more

I have been going to Frank's since I was a kid in the 60s and 70s. It had always been my whole family's favorite. For decades.... Until now! Since they closed and then reopened! ???? What happened to the pizza?!? We just left there, and we are sodisappointed. We no longer live in the area, and we made a big deal about coming downriver and getting a Frank's pizza. There'sno way 12 of us are wrong when we noticed that the pizza was different. We weren't certain if the sauce and crust had changed, but the pepperoni was absolutely not the delicious, curled up, old-world pepperoni that we remembered. I don't care about theupdated decor or any of that. But why change the exceptional quality of the ingredients on a pizza?!? I really can't describewhat an absolute let-down the experience was. Franks was a staple in Wyandotte Michigan for years! Then the whole parents passed to kids and well, you know how the story goes... sometimes and everything avalanches from there. A new owner, completely renovated, clean and, bringing back the original recipesto the pizza! I tried the pizza last night and to my surprise, the pizza was very tasty! The crust was perfect with propercrunch, the mozzarella cheese had the taste of what one would expect and, the Pepperonis were old school baby!, with slightlyburnt edges the way it?s supposed to be. They nailed the old original recipe! They have the potential to be the best pizza inthe area, so I?ll stop by again in a month and test their Consistency. Awesome pizza so far! I recommend! After having lived downriver for all these years, I finally made it to Frank?s. I really enjoyed all of our dinner. From the... Antipasto salad to their cheese bread to the pizza, everything was great! Even finished off with mini cannolis. But the bestpart of the whole experience was our server Zackory. He was attentive, knowledgeable and frankly impressive as a waiter. Greatjob! Read more

Do not let the Frank?s name fool you. I have given the establishment a few tries, first when they reopened - maybe they were... trying to catch their footing. But after my most recent visit I cannot recommend anyone order carry out. Dine in would be bestso you can complain immediately. See the photo of cinnamon bread I was given - how was that sent out? Seriously, that?s notburnt - it?s all cinnamon. Someone cooked that, drizzled the pathetic amount of icing and thought that it was worth serving? Thelack of care can be seen throughout - while the pizza is the same recipe, preparation and attention to detail it is not. Skimpytoppings, incredibly greasy and it?s pure luck whether you?ll get over or undercooked. Long wait times, overpriced, and no heartforces me to review this negatively. Read more
