The food was terrific. I had the lamb chops and my wife had chicken parmesan. The prices were reasonable. My only complaint was... the service. Our waitress was apparently new and not properly trained. She had more tables than she could handle and did notwrite anything down. Multiple times she forgot to bring what was asked. Read more
We just went to this restaurant tonight, the food was great I loved it. We had a very sexy looking waiter but when I heard... another waitress talking to the group she was serving, Wow I was ticked off, he didn't tell us about the specials! He didn'ttell us about about the soups types or salad types and I was shocked, i had choices what? I had no idea that I could get anoption.... well next time I better get great service! I hate to do this because I've been before with good service. But we went there for our anniversary tonight and the service was... not good. She left us waiting between each serving, we had to ask for bread, she told us she was waiting for the bread to getdone but when we got it it was cold? I thought i seen her standing by the bar wine glasses texting. We had to wave her down forother things. we got cheese cake to take home. Two of them with berry sauce and this is what we got for two cheese cakes. Onelittle container with hardily any berry sauce. one of the other waiters came to take some of our dirty dishes away. When shecame to the table to bring something she didn't pick up any dirty dishes they were piled at the end of our table the whole time.And no they weren't busy when we went in. I got pasta Carbonero and husband got chicken Parmesan with marinara spaghetti?. I got chicken and dumpling soup but not 1... dumpling n never ever had that soup with Spinich either in it?? I never eat the chicken in my soup which is just me ,?so Iguess I just had broth. Husband had minestrone soup but it was lukewarm! First time I ever came here that I was not pleasedwith my meal it?s always so good!!! I told her light sauce on my Carbonero and I swear it was twice as much as it usually iswhich is normally a lot n it came out n it was swimming in sauce n The sauce was very pasty! Very very thick like pools of iton the side where the noodles weren?t even I looked on the bill when it came and the Kennedy did write down light sauce so itwasn?t her fault, it was the kitchen?. I just brought OVER 3/4 of it home. I rinsed it Off in a colander and ate it likethat, but for $22 , I was not happy and not even remotely full I use to love this place but don?t believe I would go backagain??. Just disappointing because I used to love this place and I always get the same meal and it was to die for before. This place is the bomb! The service is always good here and the food is always great. Their sauces are great. I've only had 2 of... them but both of them are GREAT! The pasta is GREAT! The appetizers are alright. Nothing special when it comes to the startershere. Even though I always ask for "no ice" in my drink it was still cold as hell. The ravioli is GREAT! The menu says theymake it "in house" and I could believe it because it's very good. They have cheese, beef and chicken ravioli. The sauces add tothe greatness because it's SOOOOO GOOD! Seating is good but it's a little too dark inside. You can ask them to brighten up theatmosphere if it is too dark. People are friendly. Good parking. Not too many bad things I can say about this place. The foodis so good that I forgot to take pictures of my entree when it first came to the table. Everything at the table was good. If youwant Italian food you need to try this place first to set a benchmark. If you haven't tried this place but have eaten at anItalian restaurant then eat here to see if it's better than your favorite place. Read more
I hate doing this because it used to be my favorite place. The past four times service has been less than to be desired.... Literally spending $150 for me and my partner each time and get better service at a drive through. It?s so sad, this place usedto be fine dining. The servers would rather gossip about guests and themselves by the bar and text. This is coming from someonein the food service industry. Go the Earle in Ann Arbor! Amazing service, food and even a wine connoisseur. Worth the drive.Hopefully management can take control here, based on other reviews it?s not just me:( Read more
