There are 2 sonics that are closer to home, but we make the drive to the wylie one. Employees are always friendly (jack the... carhop always has a smile on his face) and food is soooo much better than the other 2. Thank you guys and keep it up!!! Read more

Was there on Friday 9.23.22 and the far stall for vehicles with trailer has not worked for a long time. Walked to the dine in... stall and pressed the button. About 20 seconds later the other dine in stall was utilized by several high school kids and theirorder was taken while I still waited. Eventually i left and never was attended. Today 9.26.22 the stall I used would not acceptmy selection for type of payment option. Read more

I ordered ONE drink on the app and when I arrived there were no more than 3-4 vehicles there. I waited at least 10 min when... someone pulled in (and checked in) and got her order less than one minute after she arrived and I was still waiting on mine.I?ve had this issue at this location before and stopped going there but I thought I?d give them another try. This will be thelast time I go there. I had rather drive out of my way to go to Sachse, Murphy or St Paul before I EVER go to Wylie again!! Read more

Beware using Sonic App!!! Preface to say, I have experienced issues using the Sonic app before and overlooked, but this was the... last straw. 21:10 Pulled up to Sonic in Wylie, TX off of Williams, while placing order using the Sonic app. 21:11 Received emailreceipt. App said pick up by 21:19 21:17 App would not let us check in, used button to tell them we were there ****patientlywait**** 21:41 Confused about order then claimed it is about ready, but has not been brought out yet. 21:46 Order disappearedfrom the front of app and appears to have been delivered, but still no food. 21:47 Given indication that orders are not starteduntil the person arrives. But we WERE here. On app, we used ASAP. AND the app said to pick up by 21:19!!!! 21:53 Claims it wasgiven to someone else. Remaking. 2200 Closing time 2206 Received our meal! No drink carrier. Got home...no napkins. Missing anorder of tots. Order placed at 06/07/22 9:11 PM SONIC Drive-In Location 501 N. Williams Wylie, TX 75098 972-442-014 Completedtheir survey and sent a note to corporate. Their response, "Please accept our sincere apologies for the less than desirableexperience you received at Sonic Drive-In. If I could leave zero stars I would. This is the absolute worst location. Food is never fresh but takes 45 minutes. Ordered just... an iced tea one time and after waiting 12 minutes, decided to leave. They would rather make everyone wait because they want onecar hop to take out multiple orders. Just Terrible. Don't waste your time or money and drive to Murphy or Sachse. Read more

Not only have I not come back since my last post but what I saw today, 10/1/21, takes the cake with this sorry location. They... are blocking off at least 8 spots with cones and employee vehicles, preventing possible customers and money from helping themout. Everyone is understaffed right now so that?s not even an excuse that we should accept. Don?t go here unless you don?t careabout service, quality, or consistency. Worst sonic I have even been to. Luckily there are better options around this locationlike a Whataburger and Chik-fil-a, which I?m sure are also understaffed but not blocking anything off. Come on guys, get better. Read more

Ok if you make a customer wait 20 minutes for their food why bring out cold and old fries? I do understand you guys were busy... but if you?re that busy then shouldn?t the food be fresh and hot especially the FRIES! I asked the person bringing the food werethe fries fresh she said yes but guess what they weren?t seems like they been sitting out waiting to be brought to the car hence20 minutes if not longer! Then when I got home I said no onions but guess what onions and the burgers were cold! Poor Service!I paid 26.09 and that?s not good! Read more
