I have no idea how this restaurant has good reviews. Maybe we ordered all the wrong items? When we first walked in it smelled... completely of sewage. We were the only people in the restaurant and the service was barely tolerable. There was no love from thestaff or put into the food. I had the mussels and they were the worst that I've ever had. My son had the Tiramisu and it was oldand he actually got disgusted by it and couldn't eat it. This has never happened! The decor is beautiful, but that did not takethe sting from feeling my wallet and taste buds were robbed. Check out the picture of the cheesy garlic bread. Scampi chicken and shrimp. The sauce is oily, unflavored and bland. The chicken has not a drop of seasoning and is a little dry,... shrimp look like the precooked kind out the freezer section. I will not order again. Read more
Relatively small Italian restaurant in downtown Wylie. Restaurant and restrooms are very clean and and in good order. Restaurant... was very short on staff when we were there, yet they were able to provide our food in a very timely manner even though they wereslammed. All of our food and appetizers were very good quality and very tasty. Highly recommend. Read more
If I could give more stars, I would. This is a GEM! Cute spot with great service, excellent food and friendly prices for real... deal Italian cuisine. The owner served us and made us feel welcome & appreciated as patrons. He treated us like old friends andreally showed genuine care for our experience. It spoke volumes because these kinds of places don?t exist in very many places.Let?s talk about the food! First, the house wine was so flavorful and delicious. I had the fettuccini piemontes and my husbandhad the pasta combo. The bread was baked fresh and was delicious. We?ve also tried their pizza and it was fresh and flavorful.The portions are generous and everything was fresh and made to order. The tiramisu was ????????????! We wouldn?t typically pickthat as a dessert but when I tell you this was different, it was amazing. Fresh, not too soggy and just line the rest of ourexperience, AMAZING! This did NOT disappoint! My husband and I are from out of town. He is half Italian & he said this tasted just like his grandma?s... food (a high compliment) - he has never said about any Italian food from anywhere else! Haha it was delicious!! Their portionswere generous which is awesome, but we didn?t even finish but it was so good! We would totally have taken to go boxes if weweren?t in a hotel. One of the many date nights my wife and I go out on. We live in Rockwall and like to travel around to find good food. We were... walking the strip and based our decision on the people eating as we looked through windows. Everyone here had a smile on theirface and even the servers looked happy, so we gave it a shot. WOW, are we ever happy that we did. Just an amazing experienceall around. The food was fantastic, like, seriously fantastic. We got to chat with one of the owners, and he was so very kindand was very happy to be cooking great food and bringing smiles to peoples face. We will be back, without a doubt!! Read more
