We stopped there soon after they opened today. We were in the mood for Chinese/Asian cuisine after an appointment in G.R. so we... searched Google Maps for a place to stop on our way home. Hands down my favorite Chinese takeout in Grand Rapids. Their general chicken is lightly spicy, sweet, sticky, and crunchy in... the most beautiful way. Service is super warm and friendly- like visiting old friends. I drive across the city to patronizechopstick house regularly- and will continue to do so. If I had to give one criticism- the crab cheese is not my preferredstyle. Somewhat lacking in flavor and under-filled. This is a minor consideration though, given how delicious everything elseis. My Wife and I come here for food often. Whlie they may not steam the broccoli to her liking, which no place does, everything is... always on time, hot, and tastes fantastic. Hearing those words "Welcome back" ensures that these employees are glad to have usthere getting food as we are eating it. The portions are amazing as well. You get what you pay for. Read more
Great spot for Chinese food! Sean (Shawn) is a really nice guy. I used to come here all the time when I lived in the area. My... wife and I wanted to grab a quick bite tonight and realized we hadn't been here in a long time. Sean (I'm sticking with thisspelling) was so friendly and happy to see us. The portions were very big and we each took half of them home. Definitely try thechicken meatballs. They are very good and are unique to this restaurant. Or at least they are the first time I have ever hadthem. They have been open 4 years and do a great job. They are still great! Went again today. Now they've been open for 6 years. Read more
