I haven't been to Golden 28 in years, but I used to come all the time. From the various pho restaurants I have been to in GR,... Golden 28 has some of the best tasting pho. Broth had flavor, veggies were fresh, and noodles were not over cooked. Is it betterthan homemade? No. However, it will satisfy your pho craving. I also got the Vietnamese eggrolls. I dont know what everyone is talking about but I tried this place recently and we spend 35.00 total nothing had any flavor its... like they did not Season anything I wanted to call up there because i feel like i paid so much that the taste and Portions offood wernt fair i will not be returning. They have so many stuff on the menu. Food is delicious! Good services. Would definitely come back to try more things.
The Pho is so good, fresh vegetables, and the tofu added in made it great. Could only eat half of it, the rest was my dinner... that night. Can't wait to go back!! Read more
Wow! I cannot wait to try more. Nothing was oily or greasy. Veggies were crisp and fresh. Sauces on point. Pan fried noodles... were killer and the Orange chicken had great flavor and texture. Next time I will be trying the Pho. Read more
Great service, huuuuuge menu, and the hot milk tea was fantastic. My friend had the pad thai and a Chinese egg roll, which was... apparently the best egg roll he'd ever had in his life. My friend was sad that they don't serve beer, but it's understandable.Liquor licenses are expensive. The only reason I'm not giving five stars is because the restaurant has kind of an odd, mustysmell. Kind of like an old person's house, or a church basement? Not sure if that's always the case, or if there's even anythingthat can be done about it. (Also, I didn't love the food I ordered, but that's on me. My friends recommended this place, so I went there with my boyfriend a couple of weeks ago. We ordered mussels, pho, and Korean... Jam pong. Food was amazing!!! Superb. Mussels are especially delicious. But the service was not very good. Our server never cameto us for a refill or ask needs. Read more
Heard really good things but this place is sorry. I ordered the lo mein and got chow mein, and that didn’t even taste good.
