Anthony’s is by far the best place to get pizza in the area. It consistently delivers high quality pizza every time I order... it. Every ingredient they use, from the sauce, to the cheese, to the crust, is flavorful, fresh and delicious. Their specialityis pizza well done, so your crust will be dark, borderline burnt, but this just enhances the flavor and makes sure your pizza isnot soggy. The square margarita and eggplant Marino are two of my personal favorites. The photos below show the caprese andsquare margarita, both were delicious. I recently relocated to Berks County, PA and wanted to find a good place to get some wings. After searching local spots via Yelp... & Google, I decided to give Anthony's coal fired pizza & wings at try. I'm happy to say that they have lived up to the hype! Ipurchased the 20-piece dry rub wings with the side of blue cheese to go and it was worth every penny. Even after the 15 minutetrip back home the wings remained warm, juicy, well-cooked (had a concern based off of a previous review), and evenly favoredwith the dry rub. The blue cheese dipping sauce were a little light on the portion size but the dry rub favor was good enoughthat I didn't need much sauce. Staff: I only interacted with the staff for a brief moment but they were very attentive, polite,and professional. The overall ambience of the restaurant looked good and I look forward to coming back with my family in thenear future. Unfortunately, my eyes were bigger than my stomach and I was only able to eat 7 wings but I look forward toenjoying these over the next two days. I recommend stopping by Anthony's if you are in town. Probably the worst pizza I ever had. Completely burnt. Couldn't even really taste cheese it was burned to the dough.. I have... eaten a lot of pizza as you can see in my reviews but this was burnt and just bad. Cheese is usually stringy but not here. Waslike burnt cheese in the microwave. I and my family just got back from Anthony's, . Let me tell you the best . I hate pizza from reading, and this was the closest I... could have gotten from home (New York). We were greeted and seated right way ! Service was very prompt! Our waitress wasexcellent she made sure the flow of drinks and food were fulfilled in timely manner. The atmosphere is wholesome and theemployees are very kind and welcoming ! We were eating the whole time . No waiting ! We were treated with a sample of their.meatballs in their home made sauce, I give it a 10! Wings were great ! Garlic knots were my fave crispy on the outside soft inthe inside with their fresh garlic and oil to die for !! Pizza was just on point not soggy not burned just right ! First time dining here and I will certainly be coming back! Shared a large Carnivore pizza with a friend and it was the best... pizza I've had in a long time! Absolutely flavorful and expertly served by our amazing server. Pleasant atmosphere, not noisyand very clean. Prices are a bit high, but for the amount and taste of the food, it is worth it! Holy moly!! The flavor is out of this world. Not only is the pizza delicious and has that smoky flavor, but their eggplant and... meatballs are the best I've EVER had. The eggplant is sliced real thin and layered high and served with their hand crushedtomato sauce. And the meatballs? Large sized, moist (who likes dry meatballs?) and so very tasty!
