We called ahead (from the parking lot) and were told it was a 20-30 minute wait and took our number. When we arrived, we were... told we were in the queue but had another 20+ min wait. The restaurant was slammed with maybe 25 people waiting for tables. Itwas a Sat night during prime time around the holidays, so we knew it would be a while to be seated. The host was very courteousand professional throughout the waiting process. We sat near the entrance and the host treated each group with the same levelof professionalism. Our server was very polite and top notch. While waiting for our food, I noticed a few tables seemed to bewaiting for a while, and the host went around and talked to each table and made sure everyone was happy. ...and they were. Everyone left smiling. The food was great, drinks were on point, but most of all the service I saw tonight made me remember whyI enjoy the Wyomissing Outback over the other steakhouses in the area. Went to visit my daughter at college and took her and her roommate to lunch. Our server, Madison, was excellent. Super friendly... and attentive. The food was delicious and served quickly. Highly recommend. We?ll definitely be returning! Read more
Spur of the moment decision to go to Outback for dinner. Everything we had was very good and our time there was made more... enjoyable due to our waitress, Mandy! Mandy was tending bar as well as waiting tables in the bar area and she was so efficient,pleasant and helpful! We have not had great service like that in a very long time and it made for a very enjoyable dinner! Wewould eat there more often if we knew we would always have her for a waitress! Thank you Mandy! Rita greeted me like I was a queen. The entire team was pleasant. Then my food came. I ordered the Salmon. The meal was... excellent and the portions were ample. This is a tough review. Outback is usually really good, however this location struggled. Staff was non existent so being seated... took almost an hour with alot of unhappy people leaving. The steak was supposed to be their signature bone in ribeye but it wasmore of the unwanted parts of a cut then most would want. The marbeling was way to high on the fat side. Really disappointed. When we arrived they had asked us if we had a reservation made which we did not so they told us it would be a 25 to 30 minute... wait and asked if we would like to wait which we said yes so they took our phone number and they would text us when the tablewould be ready which it was ready probably about within 20min then we sat down and it took about 10 minutes for a waitress toarrive she was very extremely nice, very pleasant, and was very good waitress!! We had ordered for an appetizer the bloomingonion... While we waited they put down very nice and roll with delicious butter... The blooming onion though took probably about15 minutes to get to the table and honestly the outside of it had tasted overcooked and the onion itself tasted almost near rawon the inside.... but it also had tasted as if it was cooked in very old used oil to be honest. Our meals had came probablyabout 25 minutes later everything was delicious except for the french fries they had tasted as if they were cooked in the sameexact old oil as the blooming onion did. But other than that the food is very good and I did enjoy our waitress I know she'sextremely busy but she did the best she could....It was extremely clean in there/our table... And the price of a meal came up toaround $70 but it was definitely worth it for 2 people!! And the only thing negative I have to say about this place is just thetime on the food... And not liking the blooming onion and french fries... other than that, I would definitely go back and tellothers to go here, BUT, for sure would call ahead to reserve a table before going!! Read more
Extremely disappointed in our experience. Both of the steaks were well over cooked? not to mention, that our waiter had the... WORST hygiene we ever dealt with in a restaurant setting. His stench was so pungent that we had to cover our noses when he wasnearby. We didn?t even want to ask for drink refills. We even tried to pay the bill online rather than have him come back to thetable. His hygiene altered our appetite and completely ruined our dinning experience. Tables nearby also complained about thesteaks being over cooked and the waiters hygiene. We respectfully brought this to the attention of the shift manager and she didnot seem concerned, interested, or willing to take action on the matter. We will NEVER eat at the Wyomissing Outback again. Read more
