Service was great. Food was horrible. Schnitzel was so tough my husband couldn't eat it. Sent it back. I had a Reuben corned... beef was. also very tough but I felt sorry for the waitress so I ate what I could. German potato salad was absolutely tasteless.Maybe they need to hire real cook. Had high hopes with the reviews. Food wasn't flavorful... I had the strip and my mother had the ribeye. Neither has much... flavor... the fries were better than the steak which is sad. The set up is weird to get into the restaurant side. The door wasleft open making it very hot inside. The staff was nice... the server was nice but extremely slow. Took over 5 minutes to getour drinks then another 20 for food which okay we understand but then we sat there for 15-20 mins after finishing to get ourcheck. Server had no pep in her step. ???? It could be set up so cute with the way the building is but it was justconfusing. Also no kids menu so my 5 year old shared my food...which is fine but that could be very expensive if he wanted hisown food... Read more

This is a lovely place to eat. They have a large selection of beer, and a full bar. They have a menu with a variety of German... dishes, and different meat options. My brother and I ordered a pretzel for our appetizers. Our friend ordered the loaded baconbeer cheese fries for his. I ordered the Elk burger, my brother got the Reuben. The burger was perfectly cooked and juicy. Thesweet potato waffle fries were done nicely as well. Amy, our server was very attentive and stayed on top of it. We did enjoy the food and a a Hefeweizen. There are a nice selection of German beers. Service - one person, but we were only... ones here until the end - was frankly a bit slow. Nice enough to sit out in the bier garden & we enjoyed the atmosphere. Foodwas great for a light lunch. The facility is handicap assessable. Read more
