The eating at the Drift Inn was outstanding! I usually don't rate this high but the whole out-to-dinner experience at the Drift... Inn was awesome. Really can't say enough. Lewis was our waiter and he was superb. He suggested great drinks for wife and Ibased on a couple of our criteria. He really kept close tabs on us without being intrusive. Very good sense of humor too. Theother staff members were on it! Constantly serving and clearing tables. The atmosphere and ambience was rustic with backgroundsoft music from guitarist. But I can't say enough about the food....the taste, freshness, quality, and even the portions. It wasall very tasty, especially for the price. Very reasonable. Disappointing service. We had been there a few days ago and ordered a grilled cheese for my kids. They liked and everything was... great. We went back today and tried to do the same. The grilled cheese was not a grilled cheese, the bread was super stale, thecheese was barely melted and there no signs of being grilled anywhere on the bread. When I brought this to the servers attentionshe said she would let the kitchen know. Maybe 10min later the server returned and asked if I wanted it to be remade. At thispoint we were close to being done and ready to leave so I declined a new sandwich. When the bill came we were charged full pricewith an included 20% tip. I paid but felt like they should have offered to remove the grilled cheese from the bill. It was clearthat the sandwich was sub standard and they charged the standard price. Overall great experience! Got myself their bleu burger with fries and a Manhattan to chase it down. The burger which I ordered... medium well came out perfectly done, the fries were excellently seasoned, and the drink was just right. They had live music on aTuesday night which added just the right touch to the whole vibe. Great place and excellent service! Worth the expense. Read more
Incredible food!! You can tell they are attentive to detail with every aspect of the business. We loved it so much went two... nights in a row. Ian and Mason were incredibly friendly staff! The restaurant itself was super fun, especially the patio! Topto bottom awesome! The best restaurant on the coast so far for us with a huge menu, something for everyone! Read more
I wasn?t sure what to expect but was staying with a family member for the week and they took me here for our first dinner in... town. I feel like you can get a good sense of how fresh things are by a side salad (came with my entree). Super clean, freshgreens and a bright and delicious house-made ginger vinaigrette. Crab cakes (3 plump cakes) were delicious and plenty for ameal. I only had 1.5 and half the steamed veggies that were also on the plate. Felt like good size portion for the price. Beerlist was yummy! This place looks small and unassuming from the outside, but has an amazing menu and delicious food. The seafood is fresh and... cooked great. They have a ton of options; burgers, huge salads, seafood dishes, vegetarian/vegan, pizzas, and more. Everything Isaw the other patrons ordering looked amazing. Words cannot describe how amazing this place is. We came here after a recommendation from a local. We had a very short wait to... be seated on a busy Saturday night. We immediately loved the atmosphere and especially the live music. Our server, Jordan, wasTHE BEST! Genuinely friendly and attentive and when there was a small hiccup with availability on a menu item he immediatelymade it right. The service was also incredibly efficient given how busy they were. The food was out of this world. Crab ravioliwas on point and my steak was perfectly cooked. The desserts were phenomenal as well! We had such a fantastic experience atdinner that we came back for breakfast. They again knocked it out of the park with the service (I forgot our servers name ) andfood! Very cozy, relaxing, quite elegant dining ambience, with live music! Good service. The crab cakes were very tasty. Mushroom and... sausage pizza was a bit thick in cheese for our flavor. Cesar salad was prepared right. I liked their homemade lemonade. Livemusic from a gentleman playing guitar in a well set stage added relaxing vibe to the dining experience. Without reservation, wehad to wait about 30 minutes to be seated. But the hotel?s gift shop right at the entrance hallway could help make your waittime go by fast. Read more
