I have been to this restaurant 30+ times and the food has always been great. The service great. The chef fun and interactive. ... The only problem is at the end of the night I go to pay my bill and there is a nice size tip added into the bill for me. Itreally bugs me that restaurants go ahead and add a tip. I had already gave the chef a nice tip for a job well done. When did afamily of 5 start being a large group. Its very said that this restaurant decided to auto tiping. I will properly never returnbecause of it, but If you want good food, nice environment, and tip added in for you. This is a great place. Read more

It was my birthday & decided to have their chicken hibachi which was the first time I've been to one & my family had took me... there & let me tell you it's absolutely amazing!!! I loved it, & the food was also amazing!!!. The older chef we had ishilarious & he's awesome at what he does!!! I had a great time with my family their & Thank them also for taking me to thiswonderful establishment. Beautiful atmosphere & it's very clean I mean I've literally saw some of their staff cleaning thecorners of their walls with what looks like small metal grout brushes in such detail I wouldn't mind having dinner here again. Staff is friendly and very helpful. Food, on the other hand, does not make the cut for me. Menu has all the Japanese type of... dishes. However, this is no way to be Japanese food. I?ve lived i Japan and other places where more population of Japanese. Ithink I know what Japanese food tastes like. The dishes we ordered are more Japanese-inspired or want-to-be Japanese food. I?venever had Nabeyaki udon with so much bell pepper in it. The few slices of mushroom, overcooked seafood and meats, shreddedcabbage and a few pieces of fish cake in a very bland broth will not pass for Japanese Nabeyaki. The other dish we ordered waspork Katsu curry with rice. Well. Curry in this dish is a dipping sauce for the pork katsu. When we asked if we could have Katsusauce, it was brought something that is not Katsu sauce. Don?t know where the recipe for this dish comes from but it?sdefinitely not Japanese. Really loved and enjoyed this restaurant. One of the very few restaurants in Yakima that is actually a full service restaurant.... Very clean, atmosphere was very pleasant. 5 stars on the food, the menu was very adequate. Good prices. This is now myfavorite Sushi House while coming through town. I would like to begin by saying I blew $80.00 on a very unsatisfactory dinner. From the improperly mixed salad dressing, to the... burnt chicken yakisoba, and especially the soggy orange chicken. We?ve been here previously when the restaurant first opened andit wasn?t this bad. It ended with me making my own teriyaki sauce and white rice and having all this inedible food left over. Read more

This place was rated well so we gave it a shot. We were highly disappointed. I think the pictures speak for themselves. We... ordered a chicken fried rice and a deep fried California roll. The texture of the rice was great, but is this seriously what weget for $15.95? The California roll was not deep fried by any means either, it?s pale color proves this. We ended up recookingour food after opening it, upon delivery. We added some veggies to the rice and fried the sushi. Pictures are of before andafter our own edits to the dishes.
