Dinner was surprisingly great! Only use surprisingly because I lived in Seattle for some time and everyone bagged on... Yakima.... But dinner was really good! Walked in around 6pm on a Sunday, no wait sat immediately. Ordered 3 appetizers; Garliccheese bread - crispy and cheesy, wants not to like about the bread Coconut prawns - prawns weren't over cooked by fryingcoconut breading was golden perfection Spinach artichoke dip - creamy and warm served with warm pita bread, for a chilly eveningthe dip was perfect Dinner; Surf and turf - steak was juicy and flavorful ordered medium with the garlic butter on top wasdelectable. Paired with a lobster tail and shrimp and additional dipping butter. NY strip - ordered medium no other dippingsauces (A1 or BBQ) were needed. Used the remaining garlic bread to soak up the juices. Paired with angel hair garlic butterpasta and grilled asparagus. Pasta was cooked perfectly as well as the asparagus. Asparagus was not too soft still had a nicecrisp to it. I use to avoid Yakima, now I'll be back and visit this steakhouse. Hopefully they can accommodate some big rigsbecause I'll be spreading the word about this place. Read more
This place is amazing! Every single thing they brought to the table was delicious. I had the prime rib and it was one delicious... piece of meat. The quality of the cut was solid, nothing special, but cooked very well. Everything was cooked exceptionally. Theonly feedback I have is that our waitress seemed to be in a rush, but its likely they were short staffed or probably overworked,it was a little annoying but she was very efficient and courteous so I can’t put that towards the rating. Wonderful. Look at that salad that comes with the entree. I had to quit halfway or I wouldn’t have room for my Yukon Gold... mashed potatoes. And the fillet mignon? I cut it with a fork. The service by Jennifer M in the bar was prompt and delightful. 6 stars. There’s no room for improvement. Read more

I'm not 1 who writes reviews yet this place is 1 I will. First time visitor to the Yakima Steak Co. I was served with a smile... from the young lady, very friendly. I suggest you try the stuffed mushrooms, excellent little appetizer. I had the sirloin steakcovered with onions and mushrooms. Fried brussel sprouts and baked potato with all the goods. The steak came out just as I washoping, perfectly medium rare and no extra seasonings or sauces needed. Definitely a great place for a calm environment withexcellent service and food. Thank you to the young lady who served me, the chef who made the meal and a big shout out to theowner for our bit of conversation as well. I left a more plump and happy man today Read more
We had an excellent anniversary dinner here. The food was excellent as always but it was the customer service that made it... memorable. They asked if we were celebrating anything when we entered and then every staff person who talked to us mentionedour anniversary. They gave us a free dessert and a coupon to come back again.
