Had dinner here while on a short vacation. Made a reservation the same day, which was probably a good idea as it was quite busy... here. I'm not sure if it was an abnormally busy day for them but the waitress we had always seemed to be in a rush. Not to saythe service was bad by any means but you could tell she wanted to check on our table and move on as quick as she could. Maybethey were just short staffed (like it seems most places are lately). The food was pretty good, we had a pasta (can't rememberwhich one) and fish (halibut I believe) and I would say the pasta was the better dish of the two. Lovely dining experience as a first time guest. The atmosphere is great with nice lighting that sets the tone. Friendly wait... staff and a menu with great selections. Wine and bread are perfect starter. The food is well plated and is delicious. I wouldrecommend for nice overall dinning experience. Read more
I was completely optimistic about this restaurant. I wish I would of been hungrier than I was ...so I ordered the chop salad.... The portion was perfect. .I do like more garlic, basil... bit it was good!! Lobe the decor of the restaurant.. VERY relaxing andpretty. Our server was great at coming around and checking on us. So disappointed tonight. This is not the restaurant I remember pre-covid. We've had many wonderful family in the past so... wanted to go here for our 30th anniversary. However tonight's experience did not meet expectations. The ambience is still niceand our server was friendly and very good. The food mostly good, however the pear salad was not worth the money, having oldspinach, not enough dressing drizzled over it and the pear had no taste. My scallops were cooked well, but were so salty theyhad to be replaced and my husbands fettuccine was watery, not creamy. Also, to be charged to exchange a vegetable to somethingyou can eat for one of the most expensive dishes on the menu seems pretty classless. Also, even though I had made a point ofletting them know it was our anniversary when making the reservations, no acknowledgement was made while we were there. Overall, we were left feeling nickle and dimed and a bit rushed. This restaurant is not the classy place it used to be and wehave no plans to go back again. Read more
This was very popular place in yakama, everyone was having a great time. It is a Italian restaurant but i had the ribeye stake... they were nice enough to switch out side of potatoes for fresh pasta. Stake was cooked perfectly and pasta was super good, whatelse can you ask for red meet and freah pasta. Service and food were both fantastic, definitely will go back when i go back tothe area for actual Italian food. Read more
This place has changed since I last came in. I have only been in 3 times and never really happy with the food. This time was... different. We had 2 pasta dishes. Chicken fettuccine was up in the top. The white sauce was great and the balance of the dishwas right on. The side of bread was not as exciting. It was oily and not much flavor. The chicken parmesan was ok. I reallyexpect more. Chicken was unevenly cooked (from crunchy/dry to normal chicken breast), the red sauce was very skimpy and somepasta had none (and I don't like my pasta floating in sauce). This is the most beautiful, funnest, sweetest, and most delicious little spot in Yakima!! Hands down one of my most favorites... ever now! The building it's in is unique and the restaurant itself has the most wonderful decor and atmosphere with twinklingtrees all around you. A great girls night out or date night, seemed family friendly as well. The service was AMAZING, friendlyand on top of it but also able to read the table and not push you out or come by too often. The food was DELICIOUS. We hadseveral appetizers and main courses that we shared. Pasta was on point, meat cooked just right, wine was exceptional.
