All I can say is wow! These were the best tacos I have ever tried. I had a carne asada taco and a carnitas one as well. The meat... was so juicy and fresh. We had chips with salsa and guac and, for someone who doesn?t even like guac, the guac was AMAZING!Maybe I have just never had good guac before! Service was nice and fast. Keep in mind the tavern was closed down when we went acouple of days ago. They do offer water though. If you want any sort of drink you will have to bring one in advance. Read more
McGells has, hands-down, the best Mexican food in Dayton. Authentic street tacos with cilantro and onions (not the americanized... version), taquitos and quesadillas are our favorite items to get here. Service can be a bit hit or miss but there consistencyand quality cannot be beat! We have literally never had a bad meal there and it tastes the same every single time - no ?it?sburnt today? or ?the meat isn?t like last time?, it?s delicious and perfect every single time. This place is SO GOOD! I had the nachos. They were truly fantastic. They were loaded high with fresh ingredients, and the cheese... was layered between the chips, so there were adequate toppings in every bite. Also, the staff was incredibly personable andfriendly. 10/10 Read more
Place was a little hard to find but all I had to do was look for the line!!! Food and service were excellent. If you haven't... given them a try you're missing out!!! I had the pastor and an asada steak and my wife enjoyed the fried fish tacos which werebest she'd ever had. My daughter had the chicken burrito meal.
