Sandy?s Cafe is my place to be after my visits at Westmed, a cafe where friends can gather and have a cup of coffee/tea with... pastries on the side. It?s not a restaurant with a 3 course meal or a fast food joint. A comfortable place to sit and read abook; snack on treats. This cafe has freshly squeezed OJ and fine smoothies; they make healthy wraps, and the basic breakfastssandwiches. This place carries fresh empanadas daily. So, if you?re not in a rush, come to Sandy?s Cafe and grab a sit andchill, their decorations will bring back your childhood tv sitcoms. Read more

This place is absolutely absurd. If you ever eat here make sure that you ask questions because everything is an up charge. I... ordered a BLT and they charged me an extra 75 cents for lettuce and tomato?????? When the sandwich is already $9.25? When Iasked the lady why I got charged extra for lettuce and tomato for a BLT she couldn?t even give me a straight answer. On top ofthat, I also asked for ?A TEA? and the woman goes ahead and charges me for a large when I never specified that I wanted a largetea. Is a large tea the standard? Also why is honey extra? Go to any cafe In the city or anywhere in Yonkers and honey is free.I have worked in food service for some years and as a cashier you should always ask the customer what size they would like andalso state to the customer when something is extra before placing the order. This place just charges you and does not inform youof anything. They slip extra charges on your order for no reason hoping that you are oblivious to the receipt. Stay far awayfrom this place. It's a cute, local pitstop to get a quick fixing and take a breather. The young woman attending the counter was pleasant and... helpful. The empanadas were 6/10 and the latte I'd give 7/10. But the shop's ambiente was lovely, with encouraging quotes andquirky decor all around. Read more

The prices are extremely high for the quality, definitely not worth it. Sandwich bread was stale, coffee didn?t taste good. I... feel like I threw money away here. Read more

A small quite place convenient if you are early to a doctor's appointment or work in the vicinity. A mom and pop feel and better... alternative than Starbucks. Fresh squeezed OJ, smoothies, and freshly made sandwiches and breakfast pasteries makes this spotperfect for a quick bit to eat. Read more

Nice, small cafe with a calm atmosphere. The indoor seating is very limited with only about 6~8 seats available. The prices do... feel uneven with a bacon + egg on a roll & coffee being almost $10. Overall, the staff was friendly and my food did come outfairly quickly. If you're at Ridge Hill and want a quick bite without having to go into the nearby restaurants then this is anice alternative. If you want a great sandwich, this place is awesome! Want a salad? Don?t bother. $20 for uncut lettuce in a ?bowl??... unbelievable. They didn?t even remove the bad parts of the lettuce head they used. Shameful! They also forgot to add thetomatoes I asked for. A 2 year old could have plated a better salad!!!! For the $22 I just wasted, I could have went to thecheesecake factory down the street and spent less for a quality meal. Asked for crispy chicken and the employee said it wouldtake longer which was fine. I still ended up with grilled chicken. Waste of time and money. Read more
