I Love coming down here for drinks as you really can?t beat this view around here. Really good tasty food too as I e tried... everything on the menu lol. As I read some of these other reviews complaining about prices it makes me wonder if they have everbeen to a waterfront establishment before lol. Will be back soon! Read more
Terrible service. Sat down for drinks at about 8:00 pm on a Thursday. It took about 20 minutes for them to serve us even though... the place was less than half full. When the drinks finally came we were told that they needed to, 'go next door' to get theingredients for my wife's drink. It was literally the first item on the night's specials list. OK, fine. Also, pretty sure mymargarita was some kind of cheap bottled mix. Way overpriced. When we finally got the check, the server said, 'I alreadyincluded the tip', dropped the card reader on the table and promptly vanished. No bill breakdown, nothing - I'm expected toswipe my card for a made up amount with no idea what I'm paying for and including a tip of unspecified size? Is that even legal?It's such a good location, hopefully it was just someone new who won't last long. As it stands now, I would recommend brownbagging it with a canned 'rita from the local bodega and sitting on one of the boardwalk benches to watch the sunset over thisplace. Read more
Love this spot! Food was great, street corn was the best, shrimp tacos were amazing! Lamb tacos were good! Music was freaking... insanely good! Jazzy vibe. Drinks were great, pretty & passionate drink was SO good. Jimmy was an amazing host and bartender.Thank you. Read more
It's a very nice place, but at first very poor service, nothing like make your customers feel welcome and give them a good... choice of drinks or most favorite food or special of the night, drink ???? wasn't what I expected,, I got the nachos, wasn'tgood at all. Read more
I came on a rainy day. The view was still breathtaking, since this place is right on the board walk. Our waiter was attentive... but didn?t inform us of their specific cooking menu. They don?t have a grill here so the menu is limited on the number of cookeditems in their program. The food was good but not memorable. Great Service! Location is great, super chill right by the water. Nice view of the city in the distance and modern decor. Drinks... were pretty good. We had the frozen piña colada and watermelon mojito. The food was a hit or a miss which is why I gave it 4stars. We tried 3 tacos and these are our favorites in order best to worst. Shrimp, Porky, Chicken. I would not order thechicken one again, it lacked flavor. The pork one was a bit too greasy for me but still okay. Shrimp was pretty good,interesting twist with the fried wonton. We had the Nachos which was very tasty, the chips are yummy. The chips came with themeatballs as well which made the dish for me personally, the cheese on the meatballs was tasty but the whole thing was a bitgreasy. Another thing I didn?t like is the plates they use to serve and the poor quality of napkins, I went through 15 or sonapkins. I know this spot is new so they?re just getting situated but I would definitely upgrade the plates and forks to realones not plastic disposable ones, cheapens the experience. At this point they don?t need to use disposable forks and plates forthe sake of covid safety like some places did months ago. I would recommend to go with the shrimp tacos and the Nachos withbeef. The best part of TaqueRio is the overall experience with the view and friendly service, I wouldn?t say the tacos areimpressive. Read more
Amazing location! Service was great the food was amazing!! We ordered a little bit of everything, the street corn had the... perfect amount of sauce and was perfectly roasted. The nachos are delicious and a nice portion. The tacos had this yummy sauceand the tortillas didn?t fall apart!! If you are in the area you must check this place out!!! Read more
