Mimi's has been a favorite for years but since the pandemic we have been doing take out and unfortunately the take out meal is... nothing close to what we use to get in the restaurant. The main dish are still good but it's not the same when all you get is acontainer with the main dish. In the restaurant we use to get a side salad and a basket of delicious bead to go with the maindish. I realize that costs are up but raise the price don't cut corners on the food. My and my friend went and the customer service was horrible, our waitress was rude, snappy and very passive aggressive since the... second we walked, we decided to ignore it so that we could just enjoy our morning. Once we were done and asked for the check,she forgot to get it as she continued to pass out checks to customers that were done after us. She then took more than 10minutes to check us out and when I went to ask another person to help us since it had been so long, he don?t even acknowledge meand said she was busy, even though she was just chatting that whole time. We got the Chicken and Waffles and the SalmonBenedict, once we were half way done with our food both of us started feeling sick to our stomachs. I?m now laying down at homefighting the urge to throw up even though I?ve had Chicken and Waffles plenty of times and have never felt this disgustedafterwards. Came in for Lunch/Dinner and ordered the roast chicken entree. Chicken was tender and the skin was crispy, chicken breast area... was too dry and chewy. Sides were great. Service was good, it was not too busy so we got seated right away. Read more
Great service, but didn't have Lava Cake & the Bread Pudding was super BURNT! The servers & bartender were awesome!!
Updated New Review: My son & I decided to have breakfast here because it?s available all day! Who says breakfast is only in the... mornings? The corned beef hash was great! The waffles were served plain with butter on top. It would be great if it hadstrawberries on top. Not sure if that was an option. They have the best soups! Read more
Thanks giving dinner at Mimi's Cafe. Food was excellent, Erica my server was so polite and attentive. Saw lot's of great... Americans having a holiday meal with family and friends. I really hate to do this, but someone needs to speak up. We?ve been eating at this Mimi?s for years and years and have always... enjoyed the food and service. Tonight, it was dramatically different with feeble service and among the worst plates of foodI?ve ever been served. The salmon was dry and would have made a good hockey puck! The rice medley was nearly inedible becauseit was so dry, crunchy and tasteless. Someone is really cutting corners. Read more
Good food. Fast and great service. A place where our family grew up going to. Lover their soups. When are kids where young... we could not get enough of their onion soup and corn chowder. Best comfort food. And their breakfast were also verydelicious. I know sometime this place may not appear to trendy. But you are missing out on a all American flare. Read more
