My husband and I got married at Dockside last weekend (September 2022) with blue skies but 30mph winds. We still wanted to have... the ceremony outside, and the staff was great at making sure all the decor was set up and not blowing around. Heather (thevenue coordinator) was great at answering so many of my questions leading up to the event and set up the tables, desserts, decor, etc. exactly as I had imagined. She was also flexible with timing as the night went on, and was super attentive to ourguests with limited mobility. The bartenders were awesome, and out photographer and DJ had worked with Heather many times beforeso it went seamlessly. The view was unbeatable, and I'm so happy we chose Dockside. Read more

Our wedding at Dockside was absolutely beautiful. The harbor looks so nice when you’re outdoors for the ceremony & cocktail... hour, and the indoor reception was comfortable for our 120 guests. Our guests complimented the food and drink throughout theevening. Heather answered all of our questions leading up to our wedding, and come the day-of everything ran so smoothly — wewere guided through the day, got everything we’d asked for, and didn’t have to worry about a thing. We were extremely disappointed with the restaurant! We went for my birthday and the only thing that was good about it was the... view. They did not know how to make any alcoholic drinks, we had to return one and the bartender said oh I added too muchbitters. The special tuna poke was awful. The tuna was not fresh. We then got the lobster spring rolls and their was nothing inthem. Maybe two little pieces of lobster and it was tough. Don’t order the stuffed Maine lobster. It was $75!!! There was notail meat and the lobster claws were very over cooked and they burned portions of the stuffing which was really only breading. They also say it’s stuffed with shrimp and scallops. There was no shrimp and just 4 small scallops on top. Then we order thechocolate cake thinking surely they couldn’t mess that up….it was burned!!!! I never write reviews, but after paying over$450 for 4 people and we all had a terrible experience we wanted to ensure the public was aware. Read more

Really good food, and our waitress was absolutely amazing. The views and environment were very mellow and relaxing. Some guests... were really rude and acted somewhat entitled which made some people have to ignore it, but that is no fault of the restaurant. Read more

Food was good, nice views of the harbor but it in no way was worth the astronomical prices they charge… It was not crowded at... the early dining hours, I’m not surprised. When market price means $75, run the other way… A small basket of bread is acharged appetizer, come on! Lots of decent priced restaurants in this area of Maine, look elsewhere… Read more

We had the perfect wedding day at Dockside! I loved the venue at first sight, and Heather was so helpful with planning... throughout the year. She was a calming presence throughout the busy day, and her team made everything run so smoothly. Ourguests kept saying how beautiful everything was and really enjoyed themselves, especially since it was a majority of their firsttrips to Maine. I really appreciate how flexible the team was with us adding an extra hour to the reception since everyonewanted to keep the party going. The oceanside ceremony with the boats in the harbor and the intimate reception at the restaurantwith a hopping dance floor made everything exactly as we hoped for our big day. Thanks again to the Dockside team! Read more

This experience was funny and embarrassing and will live forever (partially because it was my birthday). We got there and the... atmosphere was very stuffy. The prices were very overpriced were there was an actual shock at the table when they told us themarket price of the lobster. When we decided what we were going to eat they came to tell us that they had run out of lobsterand crabs. This was Sunday at 6pm. On the harbor of Maine. We had reservations for weeks. At this point we decided we neededto leave. They gave us our bill for the fee drinks we got and we went to another establishment and got our dinner. Only thingthat deserved one star was the waitress whom my daughter was genuinely sad for as we left because we could tell she feltterrible about the experience. Read more
