This is one of our favorite places to visit in York beach. The food and drinks are wonderful! We love their chili! It?s got so... much flavor! The view is amazing and they have heaters for chilly or windy days. I wish they had a few more options on theirmenu but overall its great! Read more
Nice little clean room. Just perfect for vacation. Comfortable bed. Staff was friendly and prompt to assist. Eco-friendly hotel.... The location is in proximity to walk to restaurants and businesses. General store is just next door if you want to grab anythingquick. Read more
[This review is for the restaurant only]. This is my new fave restaurant in York ? elevated dining along with a casual beach-y... vibe. Everything was wonderful - drinks; appetizers; dessert. Special shout-out for the mussels. I?ve eaten mussels aroundthe world (including in Thailand) and the broth with the spicy Thai mussels was FABulous. Kudos to the chef! Service wasexcellent as well. Amazing views over ocean from balcony dining area! Fish n? chips and Thai mussels were wonderful! Cod cakes were disappointing,... but overall a very satisfying experience. Staff was attentive and friendly. Perfect casual dining location and menu. Read more
Very kind and attentive staff with a fabulous view of the beach. the oysters were very fresh, the halloumi and salad were very... well presented and tasted delicious. the fish tacos were a bit bland, but overall the experience was fantastic and i would eatthere again. Read more

We loved this hotel. It's so clean, bright and comfortable. We had so much fun watching the ocean from our balcony. Loved... waking up to the sound of crashing waves . Staff was incredibly friendly and the food in the restaurant was fresh and delicious.We enjoyed being just a few steps from the beach. The general store being right next door is super convenient too. Freaking Awesome. We leave the one star review at Sun and Surf to move down the street to the Stones Throw and what a relief. ... Immediate seating. Immediate service. Piles of hot food in 10 minutes. Great waitstaff. Casual and fun atmosphere. Thankgoodness the other restraunt service was terrible. Well worth the price. Read more
