Service was slow at first as it took them a while to sit us even though the place was empty but our waitress really turn it... around she was very attentive and nice. Drinks were delicious however the food was a bit off. Specially the chips for our dipthey were stale and dip a bit on burn side the mozzarella sticks were not fully cook. I have been visiting this location frequently because I am in town on extended business and I was staying in the Best Western.... The service and food are good most of the time. I had a few issues. I suppose if a place is visited enough times then there arebound to be issues. However, I have now moved over to the Holiday Inn. But I continued to visit this establishment not only outof habit, but also because this is the only restaurant open after 11 PM during the week. I don't get off of work until 11 PM soI was counting on this place to be the source of my dinner. But last night when I arrived at 11:15 PM they had closed at 11 PMdue to staffing issues. While I'm sorry to hear that, it doesn't change the fact that I didn't get to have supper last night. Sonow that I can't count on this business to be open when they say they will be I will not be visiting them for late-night supperanymore. I'll keep food in the fridge to eat. I booked the Best Western Plus in York, Nebraska during our vacation. One of the reasons I choose this hotel was because there... was a Applebee's in the hotel. We thought this would be great after a lot of hours on the road that we could just eat there andnot leave hotel. We had to leave anyway. We went down to eat around 4:30, thinking we would beat the after work customers. Westepped into the restaurant and noticed there was one man seated at bar, 2 couples seated at a table and 2 other couples in 2other booths. Great, right, not busy. The sign said wait to be seated. We stood there about 10 minutes and the 4 workers justignored us. My husband finally said, is anyone working here and one gal said she wasn't at the time. Still after that no onesaid, I will be with you in a minute. So we went somewhere else to eat. When we got back from eating, my husband stepped back inApplebee's and asked to speak to a manager. When he told the manager what happened all he would say is, okay! No sorry oranything. I know that they are just in the hotel but it doesn't look good for hotel either! Never will stay here again!! Servers are very nice and polite, my favorite server is Sidney but there is also Cassandra, there was and drinks for the season,... great appetizers, the chicken parmesan is really good. My experience here is all and all a great place to go and eat. Read more

Pretty good Applebee's! Entrance was confusing because we weren't thinking we had to go in the main door because the sign is by... the other door. Great food and service though. Spinach and artichoke dip with salsa was still just as good as any otherApplebee's. Drinks were very good as well. I really enjoyed both of the summer special drinks! Read more
It was a long wait to get in, but my review will tell you why you should eat here (sorry, it is lengthy, given the... experience)... We were here on 10/26, as we were staying in the hotel. The bar was packed, there were 5 booths and a fewtables filled with customers, and about 10 people waiting in the "wait to be seated area". (A few others in the hotel lobby aswell.) 30-40 minute wait for a table. We did not feel like getting back in the car, so we opted to stay. Waiting in therestaurant lobby was not bad. The couple next to us were sipping a margarita and a beer as they looked at the menu. As afamily, it gave us time for a kid bathroom break so this Mom would not have to do a kid bathroom break in the middle of the meal(always a bonus!). In the end, we waited 21 minutes. There was a bartender, a waitress, the host, and a gal that seemed tofloat/fill in as needed at the bar, bar area tables, and kitchen (from what we noticed). Our waitress had tables and boothsfull, but never missed a beat. She was there in a timely fashion to take our orders, and had the drinks there in a very shortamount of time. The food came out piping hot, and the bill came at the right time. She checked in enough on us from time totime. All and all, it made for a nice dinner and an enjoyable time. But, the thing that impressed me most about our waitress: we were thirsty from our travels, and draining our sodas fast. We had got to the point where one of us had finished and therest had a quarter or less of the glass left. The plan was to catch the waitress when she came by for more sodas. When thewaitress came, she had a full platter of beverages -- sodas for us, and various mixed drinks and beers for the booth next to us. We never had to ask for her to fill a glass. The booth next to us marveled on that as well.
