Loved it. Staying a hotel down the road, accidentally went to the express one on the other side of the freeway. They got my... order more than correct and even though their short staffed they were very quick and friendly even at almost closing. We had family in town this weekend so we decided to splurge a bit and eat out. We were up in york around noon so we popped into... pizza hut to ask them if their dining room would be open that evening for dine-in. They assured us that they were fully staffednow and that the dining room would be open until 9pm. My father also called around 4 pm to verify that their dining room wouldindeed be open, and they said it would be. So we packed 2 cars full of people and drove 25 miles back up to york (around 6pm) toeat at pizza hut only to be confronted by locked doors and a sign saying that the dining room was closed. We walked to the drivethru window to ask what was going on since we had already confirmed TWICE that day that it would be open. They said that theirserver didn't show up, so they closed the dining room. The worker said they might be able to open the dining room for us sincewe had gone through all this trouble to eat there. The worker agreed to bring her manager to the window, but the manager was nohelp at all. She refused to let us dine there. We were left standing in the freezing cold with several very hungry kids. We sentthe kids in one car and grabbed them a Casey's pizza on the way home. A couple of us stayed up in york, had to call our orderinto pizza hut, wait 30 mins, then drive the pizza home 30 mins where we got to eat an overpriced pizza that was cold. Thanksfor the memories, Pizza Hut. NOT IMPRESSED. According to the staff, they are "fully staffed"... but apparently it only takesone server being gone to shut the place down. Hire some more servers! If one can't come in, call another one in! They could havelet us come in... even if we did a to-go order and were just allowed to eat in the warm dining room to enjoy our HOT pizza. Wedidn't need a server at our beck-and-call. We ended up leaving with our $22 pizza...... their loss.
