I can?t believe this restaurant is rated so high- it is probably the worse Chinese food I?ve had in Toronto. Anything breaded -... chicken balls, crackers, fortune cookies- was stale. They really cheap out on meat on any mixed dishes (chicken fried rice forexample). Their lemon chicken sauce was tasteless. Their egg rolls were very oily. Their chow mein had way too much sauce - andyet was tasteless other than the taste of onions. Honestly amazed at how I did not like one food item from here. Read more
The food was really well seasoned and it did taste good. we ordered a large family meal and had two different types of breaded... meats in it?But almost 2/3 of all of all of it was uneatable! It was filled with breaded: cartilage, bones bits and things thatwere hard and overly chewy. There was barely any full pieces of actual meat & left us feeling cheated. If I were to come backI?d stick with the beef and veggies, rice and noodles or anything that you can clearly see what the meat is to get our moneysworth. Read more
Ordered from here last night and I?m happy with my order. It?s a bit more expensive compared to other Chinese places but the... food was good and portions were good as well. I got shrimp, 2 orders of fried rice and chicken wings which didn?t have much meaton them and were small but tasted good. I overall would recommend. Read more
We ordered from Spring China House first time yesterday. It was highly recommended by a friend and I am glad she did. The order... was delivered within agreed time and food was piping hot. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of food compared to mostother Chinese food restaurants. Loved that it was not overly salty (leaving it open for people to adjust by adding soya sauce ifneed be) nor oily. The food was well prepared and fresh. I had questions about certain dishes and the kind woman I spoke withwas very helpful and recommended dishes as well. Can't wait to have leftovers for lunch. Definitely recommend this restaurantand will order again soon. Read more
I have ordered from here and have had good experiences but after tonight's experience I will never be back. I placed an order... and was told 45 minutes, the order took just slightly shy of 2 hours, I called at some point and asked and was told it wasalready on the way, meanwhile it took another 40 minutes after that. (I'm 10 minutes from restaurant). At the very least donttell me it's going to be 45 minutes when jts 2 hours. By the time the food got to me every was cold, and the main dish oflemon chicken had no lemon, no lemon sauce, nothing. I has cold, dry no longer crispy breaded chicken. AND THANKFULLY I saw themetal bristle in my rice before I ate it and chocked on it. And at the time the driver arrived, I handed him 40$, due to theterrible service I did not feel it was worthy of a tip, and yet instead of giving me the change he took the cash, stared at itand walked away. Nothing special with this restaurant. There was no dine in during my visit.
Ordered on Dec 31, 2021 (order #B577E). The chop suey container was not closed properly and leaked through the entire bag. All... of the food that wasn't stored in plastic containers (chicken balls, chicken wings, egg rolls) was completely ruined. The orderdid not come with sweet and sour sauce. We called to complain twice and they did not offer to replace the damaged food. Thesecond time they hung up on us and didn't bother calling us back. Terrible customer service. Read more
Order family dinner for 2 share with girl friend. It could feed for 3 people. The leftovers are enough for me for lunch... tomorrow. Food is delicious, especially chicken balls and chicken fried rice. Read more
