We stopped for breakfast. Food was decent and everything seemed clean.
Parking was decent, food was good- staff was friendly and interior was nice and welcoming. Brought a friend of mine here for... lunch- she really thought the fried were phenomenal. Literally said she would road trip for them. Personally- I thought thefood was good and the prices were fair. Noticed that there is chicken and waffles on the menu, made the same way my mom used tomake it. Will be back to give that a try. Read more
Awesome place, a gem around York PA, eat and park. There?s plenty of space and food is ok, breakfast is great. No shower... currently, staff is very friendly and helpful. Read more
As of 8/3/2022 the parking fee is $18 for 12 hours. The TRAVEL PLAZA is CLOSED. The diner is open and that is where you get your... parking pass. When you spend money at the diner it goes toward your parking pass. I attached the price list for parking. As forthe food my husband got the Big Trucker hamburger and he said it was delicious. You have to purchase sides separate (at thistime onion rings/fries are $2.99). They also have nice dessert options in the front case all from a local bakery. Very good butnot cheap! Anyways we spent enough for 36 hours of parking ????. Up here parking is tough and we gotta eat so it all works outI guess. Read more

We stopped at 83 Diner while traveling through the area. We were very pleased that we stopped. The restaurant was very busy. The... staff were all on point and worked like a well oiled machine. I got the fried shrimp with onion rings, both were preparedperfectly. Both were hot and not greasy at all. My husband got the 83 burger, it was cooked just as he ordered. His French frieswere freshly cooked and hot. You get good sized meal portions and a decent price. I can tell now why all the over the roadtruck drivers stop here. I stopped here because I was delivering down the road. So glad I did! I had the Steak Gorgonzola......absolutely delicious!!!... The portions were great. The flavor of the steak tips was amazing!! Everything was amazing but was just surprised on the flavorof the tips! Do yourself a favor and stop here, you won't be disappointed! The waitress was right on top of things too. Read more
