The food is good but the service is horrible. This was the second time there. They were severely short on staff and once they... would make a decision 5 minutes later they would come back and do what we had suggested in the first place. I called a monthahead to see if they took reservations and was told no. When we went for dinner with a party of 9 they seated us at someoneelse's table and was told by the manager they had a reservation. Read more

I try to stick with positive reviews but, had to share how rude this place was. Group of about 10 of us went here after work on... a Friday, we had been there in the past and they have a beautiful outdoor area. We made reservations and when we got there weretold we had to sit inside due to a band playing that evening. So we went inside and ordered drinks and food. Food is ok. Ignoredthe fact that they served us martinis, bourbon, wine in cheap plastic throw away cups. Then when we were finished eating andstill having drinks the manager, Jerry, comes over and tells us we have to pay a $15 cover each or leave because of the band. Wehad spent over $400 on food and drinks and would have continued to buy drinks there but left because he was so rude. They werenot packed or looking for tables to seat people. The tables outside we weren?t allowed to sit at were empty. We watched him turnguys who were golfing away from coming in to order food unless they paid this $15 cover. We weren?t there for the band nor werethe golfers. We sat inside and could barely even hear the band. If this was a night club I would understand but, it is a golfcourse and restaurant. We finished our drinks with Jerry standing watch over us and were trying to thank our waitress and hefollowed us around until we left, very creepy and hostile because we wouldn?t pay a cover for a band we didn?t come to see. Not bad. Sat at the bar. Service was good. Food was good. Has a different vibe being on the golf course, but nice place.
Best place we?ve had dinner at in a long time! First we were amazed by the scenery and wonderful atmosphere. We were promptly... seated and had a gorgeous view. The food was excellent? My husband ordered the lobster ravioli and I ordered the egg plantCaprese? By far the best eggplant and sauce I have ever had! My husband thoroughly enjoyed the lobster ravioli. This place is FANTASTIC. It looks so much better after the remodel. The food is always DELICIOUS. We have been there a bunch of... times sine they reopened and were there on the first day. This week we had the Brisket nachos, fried Cauliflower, The Piergoisand the Wild Mushroo pizza. The pizzas are our FAVORITES , cooked perfectly. Always enjoy dining here. Brought some out-of-town work guests tonite, 10/25. Our server Angela was OUTSTANDING. Drinks were... delivered quickly. Dinner service was prompt, and delicious. They are already discussing plans for the next visit. Well-done HHAle House staff!! Read more
