Great service. Delicious pancakes! However, I order an omelet with avocado and the avocado was not fresh!!! It was not creamery.... It wasn't even the right color. Next time I'll bring my own avocado. Read more

Four years ago and before, this was one of the best places to eat that I knew of. Clean, friendly, timely, good service and... food. For the past several years and for at least my last 10 visits service has been slow, poorly mannered, it takes forever toget your food, and some of the employees don't seem to care a bit. I'm not going back. It's really sad because I liked thisplace and we gave it chance after chance after chance. After 45 min of waiting in a about 1/3 capacity dining room with no foodin sight we left Bob Evans for the last time. RIP Bob Evans. We will miss you. Read more

We went on a Friday evening. Compared to other restaurants in York it was slow there. We were the only couple waiting to be... seated. No host greeted us and we stood there for about 10-15mins. Maybe that?s why they weren?t that busy. People beingignored. I know they saw us. We saw carry out area having an episode with orders. So we left. I would give them 1 star but thefood is decent. Great meal, despite eating at an odd hour. Attentive service. Clean environment. Somewhat distracted staff, I guess due to my... presence at what must normally be a slow timeframe. Read more

Upon entering hostess said there would be a 10-15 minute wait for a party of 2. There were 2 other families of 3 already... waiting. Put our name in after 20 minutes they had only seated 1 of the already waiting parties. 30 minutes into an estimated 15minute wait another party of 3 walk in and the hostess immediately seats them while our 2 parties were already waiting. Thewomen beside me asked if Bob Evans takes reservations & I told her not to my knowledge. Needless to say we walked out & went toJersey Mike's for an excellent cheese steak & wrap. Read more

Food was slow coming out and barely edible. Food had no flavor, bacon was burnt to a crisp and sausage was barely cooked.... Service was slow and they were clearly behind on cleaning tables, taking orders and keeping up with the tables. Waste of timeand money. Read more

I really like Bob Evans restaurants. The food is consistently good, their prices are excellent and the quality is always the... same. I don't like surprises with food, and you won't get any at Bob Evans. This restaurant, like so many others have been hitwith labor shortages. It's apparent by the number of employees, but you'd never know it by the speed of the wait staff or thekitchen staff. Bob Evans does so much better working with the limited employees than many other restaurants. To me this speaksto the professionalism of the staff and management coworkers with everyone else. If a restaurant can remain consistent underthese circumstances, they've got to be doing something right. The proof is in the food. Read more

This was most likely my last meal at Bob Evans. I'm never impressed with their food or their service. (My parents still like it,... for some reason.) I was given the choice of grilled or fried chicken for my Wildfire Chicken Salad, so I chose grilled. Afterquite some time after ordering, the waitress breaks it to me that the grilled chicken is unavailable. Fine. I'll settle forgrilled. When it finally comes out, there is no Wildfire sauce on my salad, only the Wildfire ranch dipping sauce. The sauce wasdelivered with my sandwich, which really needed the sauce as much as the salad because it was dry and lifeless. The Pepsi wasjust as lifeless. Our waitress was sweet, but obviously has not had quality training. Read more
