First and last visit to Bubba D's We first asked for common fountain drinks, Pepsi products, Diet Pepsi, Mt. Dew, we were told... only have in 2 liter bottle. Heard from Country Inn and Suites guest that Bubba D's food was excellent despite run down interior ( school bus yellow with... forest green trim and run down booths. They deliver, but we wanted a restaurant experience. Our waitress( Server) was the onlyone in the dining room. Was the location a pizza hut many moons ago? When we heard that there was no diet Pepsi, lemons forstill water, and the horrid state of the booths, we became a bit leery But we were starving.... My son ordered bacon cheese onfrench fries and a six inch Philly Cheese steak.His partner ordered plain fries and a crunchy chicken wrap, my hubby ordered asix inch stromboli, and as a Buffalo NY native, ordered 6 chicken wings and an Italian wrap. The stromboli was very good, my sonate the entire Philly cheese steak proclaiming it was the best warm sub that he ever had and chose to doggy bag the tastylooking covered fries were boxed up for the next morning's breakfast. His partner loved her crunchy wrap and shared her fries.My hubby ate most of his delicious stromboli and I was amazed by the plump meaty chicken wings covered in Bubba's mild sauce.BTW, there was several options for the style of the wings- fried, broiled and boneless with many options. As a born and bredCheektowagan ( close suburb of Buffalo,NY, I can truly say that these wings and blue cheese were excellent!!! Compliments to thekitchen. Despite being famished due to no breakfast and a snack, I was full after eating the six wings. My Italian wrap wasboxed for tomorrow's lunch. Excellent food at a nice price. They also deliver. Our waitress was super! If you are an out oftowner and staying at a nearby hotel/motel off of 1-83 and hate the color of French's mustard, call for delivery.. if you wantto dine in, please don't walk out quickly due to the worn and tired decor!! i?ve eaten at this place quite a few times, normally just for a quick dinner. i used to get their pizza, but they?ve always... terribly burnt the crust, making the entire thing taste like cardboard. their sauce they use on the pizza also doesn?t taste thebest. anyways, aside from pizza, i?ve gotten wings there too. i expected them to be higher quality than their pizza, however ishouldn?t have. they burn their wings to the point where i?d think i was staring at charcoal. mistake number three was tryingtheir subs & mozzarella sticks. their subs aren?t the worst thing on their menu, however i definitely recommend buying fromanother place since it?s not necessarily worth the money. the mozzarella sticks are just mediocre. Food is mostly decent, delivery service is great, but prices are very high for the area. Quality is good on some items, but not... THAT good. Also, menu and website says they are open til 930 but called at 905 and they said they closed at 9, ruined dinnerplans for my family so they need to get they're act together about that too. Read more
I got 6 mild wings and a 10 inch supreme pizza. I had my order delivered. The pizza came undercooked so after a few bites I... avoided that. Usually this would kill my experience of a place. However, the wings they brought me were AMAZING! They werecrispy with a lot of meat on them and a perfect amount of sauce. I will be returning for the wings. They were that good. Read more
Decided to stop here with the family one evening. Was greeted by 4 individuals who worked here. At the the time we were the... only diners in the establishment. However, there we a lot of take out orders. We ordered 3 subs and a large pizza. Thefood was good and the service was amazing. See the pictures below. We had ordered a Turkey sub, Ham sub and Italian sub. Itcame with French fries. We did not care for the fries. They were a bit limp and soggy. The pizza was food and the crust wasdifferent. My son who is picky about his pizza...liked it. And asked to come back again. The wait staff was young, mostlyteenagers. And they were so nice, very attentive and should be commended for their hard work. The interior was not fancy butadequate. Over all good food, great service and you should give it a try. They're pizza & wings have always been the best around. The new garlic pizza crust is AMAZING!
