Generally, we had the experience you'd expect from a sit-down, casual dining place of this type. Let's do some... details! Seating: Our host had us at a table within minutes. We asked for a slightly different arrangement, and he obliged.Thanks! Section: We were a 6-top. The table beside was a 9-top. A family of 5 was behind us. A single and a double rounded outthe room... all for one server! 20+ patrons with 10+ kids. (Shout out to Mason!) Selection: What a fun and varied menu!Something for everyone. Everything from "fish and chips" to "Teriyaki chicken bowl" was on the table. Service: Timely deliveryof lukewarm food. Not a deal breaker; we know what we're getting in to at Friendly's. French fries though... they MUST be hotand crispy, or you should just throw them away. Our fries would have been better served to the dumpster. Lobster bisque. ???? Ishouldn't have gotten seafood there. That one is my fault. I know better. It was runny and unflavored. No real lobster to speakof. I was curious so you don't have to be! For the most part, the food was good and the servings were hefty. The finale wasice cream. That, in fact, was the real reason we went there. They've added malted vanilla milkshakes. Winner! The sundaes andscoops were portioned and made well. TL;DR - Go for the ice cream and shakes, not the seafood or fries. Sit in Mason's section.She rocks. Read more
Friendly continues to amaze me back from the older menus with burgers and fries to currently lobster options and a burger that... has ranch Doritos on it which was amazing. The server was so nice and the choices for ice cream continue to surpass some of thesmaller ice cream shops left. Over all I'm never disappointed Read more
They still had the monster ice creams from my childhood! I loved going back here, excellent service.
Applesauce was spilled all over (they offered to replace it but then never brought out the replacement). All the chicken tenders... were overcooked including the ones on the bbq chicken super melts. I was charged for four ?extra? dipping sauces (we only askedfor two, but they brought out 4....and they weren?t ?extra? it was the only sauce we had between all 5 of our meals including 2chicken tender meals) They did take the sauces off the bill upon request, but it was a hassle for them to do it, and I shouldn?thave been charged in the first place. Server and staff were all very friendly and other than the overcooked tenders, the foodtasted good. Place was nice and clean with the exception of the waiting benches. Read more
First off I was met by being told they only seating at 50% capacity and they only had two server's working. Then they served a... hamburger that waitress said I could order any way I want, but the cook will only do well done. At $12 for a hamburger, youshould be able to order any way you want, but not at Friendly's. The special was with that hamburger you could get a smallSunday for $1 more. But, for $1.99 you could upgrade to a medium Sunday, which I did. Medium Sunday is one scoop of ice cream,how little of ice cream comes in a small Sunday. Never was asked if I wanted a drink refill. Never was asked if I wantedanything else. The bill was slammed down on table and I was told "pay upfront", so that ended my meal time. Too tired to argue. Read more
It has been a while since I've visited a Friendly's, so I stopped for ice cream. It was great, I had a butter crunch.
