We have visited this Restaurant a few times prior; each time it has been acceptable. We have particularly enjoyed the chicken... caesar salad. Last night (10/17/22) we ordered a 16" pizza with onions, peppers, and mushrooms for takeout. The pizza costapproximately $24 with tax. I got home, grabbed a slice, and all of the sauce, cheese, and toppings immediately slid off theface of the slice. I took a bite or two and then threw everything away. This was an absolutely unacceptable pizza: the dough wasboth over and undercooked, the sauce was generic, the cheese was generic, the toppings were forgettable and the entire pie hadno cohesion (meaning the sauce/cheese/toppings weren't married to the dough in any way). Eat here for a satisfactory barfoodexperience, but you MUST avoid the pizza. It is unbelievably horrible. Unacceptable! Read more
Wings were delicious! Pizza was good. Too much crab dip on the crabby fries for our liking. Servers seemed less than pleased... about serving the party. We were part of special event that was low key. The host of event paid for pizzas. If you wanted more,you paid. They put 20% service fee on every bill. Even a $9 bill for one couple. I think the individual bills should have beenallowed to give tip they thought best. The restaurant was already getting the 20% on the big pizza bill which I understand.Personally I am generous when I tip but this felt wrong to me especially when service was not great. Great atmosphere, wonder staff, awesome food. Tavern food is the best with great tasting food and fresh ingredients. Cool buns
When we first moved to the area, this was the first restaurant at which we ate. Great food, atmosphere and beer. They have over... 30 beers from which to choose. This latest time, we had the cheese steak poutine, French dip, and the ahi tuna wrap. As always,the food was delicious. Read more
Literally the worst service I've ever had in any restaurant. We walked in and stood at the hostess area where a guy with a... ponytail looked right through us and my husband finally said "hello." Should have left then. I noticed that we had a differentserver than other tables so I can't speak for all but ours was horrible. I think she was asleep. 2 Ceasars (very light dressing)a soup (instant bullion) and appetizerof shrimp effing drenched in sauce) and we barely dented them. When asked how they were(almost full plates mind you) I said "pretty gross actually" as I was over it at this point. And nothing. Whisked the platesaway with further rudeness and then other workers started to look at our table. I don't like to leave bad reviews and don'tusually do it but this was particularly deserving. Went here for the first time for dinner. I ordered a beer, salad, and pizza. The beer came out quickly and was cold and... refreshing. The salad also was good, and tasted fresh. But, that?s where the good stops. The pizza came out and didn?t even lookappealing, it didn?t taste like it either. It was soggy, oily, and didn?t appear to be cooked all the way. It was very droopyand tasted very heavy and bland. I ate a few slices but didn?t end up finishing it. This was another random dinner outing. The service was excellent! The food was as well. Although I will say that the crab... chowder was noted to be a little bland. The special cocktail was unique. We also enjoyed a red wine blend from Chili (definitelya distinct plum taste). The wood fire pizza was exactly what I expected. The ruben was beautiful and tasty. Overall, I willdefinitely go back. Decent food but service was just ok. The waitress messed up our beer flight order. Jumbled up everything. Beers were just okay.... Not cold enough, glasses were not that clean, smelled fishy. Food was okay. Nothing special. The garlic bread and bang bangshrimp was good though. Read more
