We went for a birthday celebration. Sat outside on a Saturday night. That was the best part. The drinks were mostly great. The... lobster grilled cheese and the shrimp scampi linguine were good. The lamb was ordered mid rare. It came out well done. Thesalmon sliders were mediocre. We waited one hour for our dinner. They seemed to be short on servers, but there were onlycustomers at about 6 -7 tables total, inside and outside. The managers nor the owner, who was sitting outside near us, pitchedin to help. We finally waved down a manager to bring the check. We were there a total of 2.5 hours....mostly just sitting therewaiting and waiting. Terrible service and no apologies whatsoever! Read more
On a quiet Monday evening, i don't think the restaurant was ready for a large party in addition to what always to be their... normal series of couples and quads. Once I was noticed (the busboy came to greet me after realizing he was the only one able todo so), the experience was great. I sat outside, and my service was timely. The gazpacho was spicy. The salmon waswell-seasoned. (Hurray! No BS, aka Bland Salmon.) Colleen, my server, recommended a delicious Cab (Browne), which I very muchenjoyed. Parking right around the corner in the public lot was inexpensive and convenient. Warning: The intersection crossingchirrups may be a bit much for those with sensitive hearing, so opt for an inside table if you want quiet. Read more

It was good, we kind of had a strange experience, came in for brunch, were told immediately that the kitchen was closing, and we... had to quickly get our order, which is fine because they were not really that busy, but we felt a little rushed. We ordered thepork belly, and NY Strip Benedict, the pork was great, although it tasted more like teriyaki than what the description says, andthe Benedict steak, was not great, kinda over done, and it was ordered med-rare. Also ordered the Olive Oil cake, and I wantedto like it so badly, but the flavor on the top, was just not good, the sponge cake itself however, was nice. The bartenderbrought us out a replacement that was really good, a lemon-tort of some kind. It’s really expensive, and, over all, for theprice, I’d say it could have been a lot better experience. 100% worth the drive! The food is amazing, a wine list that goes on and on, the atmosphere is perfect and the service was top... notch! We had an incredible meal and were able to support local artists while we waited for our food, while enjoying a fabulousbottle of wine. I will definitely return. We always have the best experiences at Handsome Cab! John, the host, is always so pleasant and a great conversationalist. They... make the best cocktails here, and always have a stellar wine list. The staff really know their stuff when it comes to mixingdrinks and serving up amazing food. The menu changes from time to time and always has vegan options, and a great variety.They’re also so considerate here! They leave out blankets for patron use outside during the cooler nights and are planning onhaving heaters, too. This is great because we can continue to spend Saturday evenings out listening to the live music andenjoying excellent food and drinks. We definitely plan on visiting again! Read more
