I never take the time to do reviews, but this was an incredible meal. I got the Jamaican jerk hero with some fries, and every... aspect of my meal was just phenomenal. The bread crunch as I took every bite, the juicy and delicious chicken, the fries done toperfection (and plenty of them!) and seasoned well. I couldn't stop eating them. My partner got a lamb burger and it wasequally delicious, along with some tater tots which were (no joke) the best I have ever been served in a diningestablishment. I am from NYC and i am picky about my food. I chose this place cause of the good reviews, it's a black business and I wanted... some soul food. I must of spent damn near a hundred dollars and the Mac n Chees was horrible from the texture to the taste. Theburger was soggy and taste burnt, I said well done not burnt. Fish soggy and salty, to top it off never have I had so much salton my fries it was unbelievable. Honestly I wouldn't recommend and I wont be spending anymore money with this establishment. Icould go more into detail, but to say less ya'll can do better than that, majority of the food went to the trash, so much for afirst impression. Read more

We stopped in on a referral from a friend. Sabrina was great and guided use through the menu and made suggestions. The ?waters?... we choose, melon/pear and strawberry ginger, were wonderful. One suggestion would be more ?regular? beverages to choose from. Wechose the jambalaya with shrimp. An amazing steaming portion chalked full of shrimp, sausage and chicken with wonderful flavorserved with grilled bread. We also got the pumpkin waffles with the fried wings. Amazing flavors! The waffles had a warmspiciness to them and shredded sweet potatoes served with maple syrup. The wings were excellent, crispy and seasoned nicely! Thechef was busy, but came out to chat twice.
