Made a reservation online through Google and once we showed up, we had a table ready. Our server was very patient,... knowledgeable, and friendly. We ordered the sushi dinner and kiss of fire - which both looked amazing on plate but also verydelicious! Additionally we ordered tempura shrimp and general tso, they were also delicious. I initially chose this place basedon the reviews and pictures shown. Oh, can’t forget the fried oreos our server gave us! I would highly recommend this place!We had a great experience. We came for lunch this time but have been here many times in the past couple of years. This is one of the best Asian food places... in York, and the lunch specials were great!! We got general Taos chicken, broccoli and beef, thai basil sauce, and a three-rollcombo for less than $50 (with 3 soups, 2 egg rolls, fried and steamed rice, and crispy wonton)!! Never been more pleasantly surprised when I thought I was settling for the only open Thai place in town. The food was delicious,... especially the soup and appetizers but the waitstaff really set this place apart. Wow!!! This is hands down some of the best Chinese/Japanese/Thai food I have ever eaten!! And Wild Ginger is the whole package... as well. The staff are all extremely nice and hospitable. They genuinely care about you and your experience. The building isclean and tidy. Five star review all day long!! Forget about all of the other sub par restaurants in York. We stopped in for lunch and I really liked the prices for the lunch special. 2 and 3 roll options with soup or salad. We had a... combination of the California, spicy crab, spicy shrimp, and smoked salmon with cheese. Everything was great. They did playAdele the entire time we were there and the Sushi chefs were playing different music on, what seemed to be, their smart phone.So the music was a little distracting and repetitive, but hopefully a one time thing. Best Green Curry that I ever had. So flavorful. The Pineapple Fried Rice was full of shrimp. The presentation of all the dishes... were top notch. First time here will definitely be coming back. I have eaten sushi from the Wild Ginger many times via take out. This was the first time I have ever eaten in and I was... thoroughly impressed. The service was excellent. The atmosphere was excellent. The cleanliness was excellent. The presentationof the food was excellent. You could see that all of the servers bringing the food to the tables were genuinely concerned abouthow each customer felt about the meal they were given. Everyone was extremely polite and welcoming. I was greeted with a smileand felt very comfortable amongst the other customers. The tone of the voices were not overbearing so you could still enjoy yourmeal and still hear yourself think or check your cell phone. I highly recommend the Wild Ginger to anyone looking for a relaxingplace to eat and relax for lunch. Definitely an awesome experience and a place I will absolutely visit again!
